I went to Kroger around 11am, store in Latonia Ky was not crowded. Got a chuck roast, in crock-pot now, yum. Our streets are brined and salted. Saw dozens of plow trucks out, I guess checling their routes. Also many street lights were blinking red, odd that. Going to set gallon jugs of water out tonight, if power goes out, I can toss them in the fridge.

A lot of those sales are still very high price. Ingles had a 2 day sale last weekend and they had that Kinders sauce for 98 cents each. I wanted to pick some different flavors to try and that did not happen. It was wiped out. It is like $3.98 at Walmart and that is just too much for sauce. I also do not get the whole Sumo citrus thing. A friend gave me a fruit basket last year and there were 4 of those included. They were very nice, but not something I am going to buy at 2 or 3 dollars each. Stay safe and be prepared . Things get real when those storms knock the power out. I know up there they are better prepared for heavy snows.

My solution is making a list of coupon deals, shop and use self check out. Tell the employee that you forgot your card. Let them ring it up on their passcode. It is on sale or it is not. Make themwork for the inconvience.

The digital coupons are availble to everyone if you tell them you don't want that on your phone. You have to tell the cashier when you pay and have all digital items ready. This is on the internet from Kroger's main offices site stating this. I shop we ach week and though the cashiers don't like it, if they give you trouble with it, talk to the manager, because it is set up from the main company that people can request and get the sales. Don't let them hassle you, if they do talk to the manager and have him verify it.!!

We love the Sweet Baby Rays Buffalo sauce. I skin chicken legs and pour it over them and bake them. Healthier than regular chicken wings. Then I use the sauce to spoon over rice. Easy and we love it
