Stocko, long time subscriber and I love the content. Just wanted to throw out a suggestion. Instead of using the crops themselves to pay back the loans, maybe make some other content from doing “contracts.” I tend to use the contracts to earn extra money while waiting for crops to grow or during down months in general. Just thought I would throw that out to see if you wanted to go that route. Welcome back pal. We all enjoy the content. Cheers 🎉

Your missing 3% is likely mulching. I know it's 5% between both mulching and rolling. Best to apply herbicide directly after lime, then fertilize, then roll. Lime only needs to be applied every 3 crops but will lose 5% each time, I lime every crop.

Oh and fertilze again after the crop grows. If you don't herbicide you'll have weeds taking up space and lowering yield unless you weed. Best to weed while small, weeding is pretty harmless, you can do it at like 14mph which is quite quick. Still debating on herbicide vs weeding myself.

You also need something to mulch in, so if you pick up the straw or whatnot there's nothing there, whereas with something like canola it will spread across the field, then cultivating will mulch it in.

If you take the straw off the field in bales you don't get your mulch state on the field I believe that adds the extra 3% your looking for

Once the crop has been harvested you need to mulch the stubble before ploughing/cultivating, that'll give you the extra 3% yield bonus
