Weldone on the third place. Chuffed for you Jess. And have a great birthday weekend. What race is it going to be? By the way, I noticed lately that some of the races had not as many runners as in the past. Not sure why this is. Maybe there are more race on at the same time?

Yes we've had a few local fell races with lower turnouts than normal. I think people are just being more selective about the races they're entering and travelling to what with cost of living increasing. Summer is also just really busy for races so it can also be that some years more people happen to decide to do one race over another.
