Honestly at this point the armor don’t do anything at all. Seems like they have ammo types and armor types but none of it even matters

Armor needs a huge rework and the penetration of purple ammo needs a debuff. Armor should last so much longer than it does. You need time to react and get your barrings for a fight. I can fully understand a sniper taking me down to 1 shot or knock but I cannot with all these two-shot deaths im getting from an ar. Lets not talk about shotty with slugs 🤪

@@darth_cheezus yeah in the last 5-10 years the games are just crap constantly lowering the TTK and it’s not even playable anymore. Everyone agrees the super fast TTK is stupid add like 150 health and at least armor that does something at all and we should be fine. But no gotta have grey ammo abliterate purple armor in 0.5sec even though it’s literally purple armor against the lowest tier ammo.

@@DJ_Taylor24 If it is white that may be insta kill hack. And yeah I agree. Tested in fire range the dummy at 200 health and added a good amount. Grenades and other things would still keep fight fast and other things.

@@darth_cheezus yeah think they need to rework the entire armor and ammo system as a whole there’s is worse than most games I’ve seen. Even if they were similar to lost light would be great TTK there is fast but armor and ammo matter unlike with this nothing matters if you shoot straight

Shots in legs and arms should only impact your movement speed and aim, and slowly bleed out(lose hp). This game is a skyrim meme at this point (I took a bullet in knee)😅

problem is tarkov was the one that started that whole leg meta thing because no one would physically wear kneepad armor at all, not even in the military anywhere and not mercs. but since its a game so everyone just aim for the leg cos its exposed. shooting the armor wouldn't kill you right away. even in other game you can shoot ai or players in the legs rather than the body armor or helmet if they are wearing highest tier armor
