Bought 2 these , one for my son and one for myself , never a issue , absolutely the best budget semi out there , into 3 thousand rounds over 8 yrs and not one issue ,cleaned regular and just passed my used one to my daughter and bought a new one in the waterfowl edition ,I have browning's and a benelli and still prefer shoot this gun .my benelli is finicky with certain ammo , my browning's will take a pounding but weight wise the Stoeger is more confortable

I have this exact gun. I love it. Inertia driven. The parts are all made by binnelli. Little advice if you buy one. Take it apart as soon as you get it and boil the parts. Then re lube and reassemble. I did not do this when I got it. I got it already assembled, and the amount of grease that everything is covered in is ridiculous. After only a few shots it wouldn't cycle, in the middle of a hunt, brand new shotgun. I wasn't happy. When I took it apart there was so much gunk I thought they sold me a used gun. There's just that much grease and mixed with powder from spent shells just gummed up the works. Works great now. But I still like my grandpa's browning better.

Great review. I miss my A400 Xtreme Plus. It’s durable, reliable, and shoots really well. If you’re looking for a great shotgun for both hunting and clays, it’s definitely worth investing the extra $1500. You get what you pay for.

about 100 rounds of the cheap stuff. probably should have used heavier load, but it worked.

What heavier load would you recommend? What cheap stuff did you shoot?

I guess I messed up... I shoot Winchester 2 3/4 slugs.. 1600 fps.. 1 oz. .. That's the only round that gun has seen.. Only around 50 rounds so far.. I hope I haven't hurt it.. It still performs flawlessly.. I'll get it ultrasounded after this hunting season.. I love this gun.. A nice little 1 X4 scope, makes it a 75 yd tack driver.. Probably be fine over 100..

How exactly did you mess up? It's a gun rated for 3.5 shells and 14,000 psi you barely broke her in
@uncletio04285 жыл бұрын
You didn't mess up. (Manufactures of automatic shotguns tend to recommend that the 1st 20x rounds should be Magnum loads but 2 3/4 slugs were probably adequate enough.) Properly greased & oiled is the important thing. Happy shootin!

Have you had any problems with ejecting the shells?
@RngrfromtheMtns9 жыл бұрын
+Emiliano Romero Some attention needs to be had when buy lower energy shells. Lots of times inexpensive shells (often called Promo shells) are light charges that may not cycle efficiently in the Stoeger. I know a lot of guys suggest a 1-1/8oz shell minimum for inertia shotguns (which can also include some of the more expensive guns). Watch the sales at the bigger hunting stores and Rogers Sporting Goods and you should be able to find good target loads that will cycle for only a few buck more per case. Hunting loads for Pheasants, Ducks, Geese, etc will not have much, if any, issues. I'm so impressed that I opted for the Stoeger over a Beretta that costs $350 more. I should add that if you have no need for a 3.5" shell that a 3" gun will cycle the Promo Loads much better than the M3500
@CanFirearmsReview9 жыл бұрын
+RngrfromtheMtns I had no problem cycling the cheap stuff in mine after break in.
@emilianoromero67919 жыл бұрын
+CanFirearmsReview and what was the break in on your Stoger m3500?
@RngrfromtheMtns9 жыл бұрын
+CanFirearmsReview That's great. I've been basing my use on the user manual and other youtubers that suggests 1-1/8oz loads with a 3 dram or more powder charge.

This shotgun is very bad in my opinion as it jams or does not even close too many times ( my use was trap and sporting clays ) the stock keeps coming loose and I just saved it for if my over/under had a problem.

Yes, When I first got mine I though it was for hunting Turkey (the bird) then I looked at my other rifle and it said Canada and I realized it was made in Turkey by Beretta Holdings.

A fantastic shotgun THEN the trigger has a 7 lb pull ! Who would make a shotgun with a 7 lb trigger pull. That seven lb.trigger pull ruins the shooting experience. I do not recommend an M3500 !
