Just a suggestion for those attempting this. Those Phillips head factory screws in the Stoeger stock are a bear to get out. I ended using a small 12v impact, to expedite the process. Everything else was a cinch.

They sucked for sure. You really only need to get one out. If you get the other one fairly loose you can spin the pad out of the way.

I didn’t have the socket extension to get the old stock off so I took a sawzall with a metal cutting blade to the stock and long bolt. I cut most of the stock and bolt off, giving me access to the stock bolt so I could take it off. I wasn’t going to use the original stock ever again so it was expendable.

It might.... You'd have to put the MOA adapter on, and then find a buffer tube and pistol grip adapter that would bolt up to a mossberg. Then you could try putting the AR type stocks on the buffer tube. The hiccup potentially will be finding the buffer tube adapter that will mate up with the MOA precision adapter.

What was the length of pull after install? Original stock around 14", Magpul advertises 12.3 - 14.3". What did the adaptor to to the Magpul advertised length of pull?

The adapter is 0.5" in width so there's a very slight increase in LOP to what magpul advertises (just at 0.5" to their numbers)

Guess imma little late to the party - just ordered up a m3000 and was hoping to do this very upgrade with the SGA for home defense work - narrow hallways- the more compact I can make things the better! Question: you indicate you mated up the Magpul stock intended for a Mossberg. Does the MOA adapter only work with the Mossberg? Or will a Rem870 work as well? I have one of those 👍🏼. Cheers

It's billed as being for the magpul only. I have not seen it used with any other stock.

yes. On the MOA precision website where you buy the adapter, it lists the P3000 as one of the shotguns with which the adapter will work.

Unfortunately, I can't tell you for sure. The adapter was specically made for the stoeger m3000. You'd have to take the stock off the receiver of the Akkar to see if there was any chance an SGA or the adapter would bolt up to it.

Does it shorten the length (reach) to the trigger? (Not the LOP but trigger reach) I’m finding my factory M3K stock doesn’t allow me to reach to trigger hardly at all.

Yes! I'm not a tall person so this shortens the length of pull and the grip angle makes is much easier to get on the trigger.

@@toddparsons2980 I did the MOA/Magpul on my M3K and sons M3000 and it absolutely reduces trigger reach just from the way the stock is designed. Also allows adjustable LOP and cheek weld. It’s honestly the way to go to make the gun fit you.

I don't see why not. The Woox stock has lists "mossberg" compatability, so the adapter should work.

Your assumption is correct, because the recoil "bolt" extends into the stock, the way the magpul stock angles, AND because it doesn't have a cut out for the recoil mechanism, SGA stocks will not work with the Benelli M2.

Greetings! If I understand your question correctly you’re asking about the long bolt that’s removed after the rubber butt pad comes off? Please correct me if I’m wrong. That bolt is there to actually hold the factory stock on to the receiver. Since you’re using the adapter here, you replace that bolt with the bolt that comes from magpul.

@@CDCLLC Thanks for your answer. Idk why, but some guns dealer here in France told me this bolt was part of the mecanism, and that I couldn't change the OEM stock, because of it. I'm happy to know that he's wrong. Not sure MOA precision is shipping to France though. So your Stoeger works just fine with that stock doesn't it?

@@antg3242 gun works great with the magpul stock. I believe, what your dealers may be referring to is the "recoil spring" that Benelli's have that extends in to the stock.

Filip Pavlov the Magpul stock is awesome. I put them on every 870 and 500 I work on /own. No issues whatsoever. Awesome upgrade for the M3000

They changed the nut size. Mine is definitely wont fit 15mm socket.

I just bought the adapter for my franchi affinity elite 3.5, seems having trouble removing the factory bolt stock any suggestions? It is exactly the same factory bolt stock as your stoeger.

maybe a little heat from a hair dryer? If you're just using a regular screw driver/allen key, I would like at something that would fit on the end of a ratchet so you can apply more torque.

I don’t believe they do. Much like the benelli m4, The 930 has a “recoil rod” that extends into the stock. The Magpul SGA stock does not have a cutout for this recoil rod.

Yes. I'm a huge fan of the Magpul SGA stocks. I run them on all of my shotguns that are compatible. running it no the Stoeger, the length of pull is MUCH shorter so the shotgun is less awkward. For those that are taller and need a longer length of pull, the magpul stock has spacers that allows you that extra room over the factory stock which is just one length. It also allows me a higher cheek weld with the stock riser so I can have a proper cheek weld while using the red dot.

There’s a post a few down where the person mentions using a Phillips head and a cordless impact driver. I guess they switched to Phillips head screws in later versions of this shotgun
