I do get the joke and enjoyed it, but I want to point out that the Spikes and Saws weren't REALLY there, it's just that the Kingsmould in the Palace Grounds has the mental fortitude of a god, and despite your awakened dream nail he STILL has mental barriers set in place in the form of a painful platforming zone. He was also the one to witness the end of the Path of Pain, and since it's such an important moment he made it the most dangerous place to traverse.

The reason the kingdom collapsed is probably because the king used all of their money to build saw and spike mazes around his palace. That's probably how he died, he came home drunk one night and walked Into a saw.

The Other day I was wondering what the main part of the White palace theme would sound like if it were played on top of the main part of the Hollow Knight theme. Soon realized they're like opposites of each other, two sides of the same coin. I fiddled around with the keyboard a bit and found they fit together quite nicely. And then, I decided to beat the Hollow Knight again. And lo and behold, that very same combination of themes I had just attempted and played, was there, at the end of the Sealed Vessel's theme, or at least somewhere around the ending music before White Palace is played, that combination was played very gently. And I freaked out because of course, I fangirled over such a revelation and masterpiece.

Yes pls I'd like that a lot too, the problem is since it only appears in the ost and not ingame, no one makes a cover of that piece at all. At most they just do the main theme (which is a lot slower)

Hey, thanks ! I'll take a look at it, I'm not sure when though ^^ (am a bit busier atm so I try to prioritize arrangement I think I'll be able to finish within a reasonable time) The time it takes can vary widely > best case is several hours, but that doesn't happen often :D worst case... months ? It depends on the complexity of the track and how well it transcribes to piano.

I can play some of them (I have put some cover on this channel ^^), and *could* play most of them... that is after learning them (for a while). In fact, when an arrangements starts getting scary difficult, I usually use what I think I would be able to play as the limit. There are some (rare) exceptions to that, like when I find no way around it. That happened a couple of time, I know I would most likely never have the ability to play them (exemple im never ever playing the right hand here kzbin.info/www/bejne/oKmoh36wg5mkabcm32s ) - but that's also because my dexterity isn't that good. I still aim to make them playable by more skilled piano players at the very least ! It's somewhat ironic that it takes me some weeks to make an arrangement, but it takes me months to play it with a decent result ^^"

that's really cool. My friend and I are currently working on Mantis Lords right now. That piece is quite the work. It has a lot of parts where we run into each other with our hands. but we'll get it. We've got it pretty well down till about a 1/3 in and are okay till like a bit before the 2/3 part

Hello! I'd like to know the notation for those pauses? Nothing on the music sheet indicates that there should be a pause before the next part. Is it possible to somehow make it obvious that whoever follows the notes should slow down there?

To whoever reads it in the future: you can put a dot after the note to signify that it should be x1.5 longer in length than normally. Two dots is x1.75. This kinda helps but not much, for such pauses like here you'll probably need to change from 3/4 to 4/4 for one tact, and based on that add the dot to the 5th note, and change the last note from 1/8 to 1/4.
