Whenever he's in the mood of emotional baggage, I actually try to ignore him, but he's looking for someone to put his anger. It's not easy to avoid him, especially if both of us are inside the car. It's so confined. There's no place to escape.

What happens if they get physically violent with you?Stand still?

Thank you for raising this important concern. Physical violence is never acceptable, and in situations where there’s a risk of harm, your safety must always come first. While Stoicism emphasizes staying calm and rational, it does not suggest enduring harm or putting yourself in danger. If you’re facing a physically violent situation, the priority should be to protect yourself and seek help. This could mean creating distance, calling for assistance, or involving authorities if necessary. Stoicism can help you maintain mental clarity during stressful moments, but it is crucial to take practical steps to ensure your well-being. If this is something you're currently dealing with, please consider reaching out to trusted individuals or professional support systems who can help you navigate this safely. Your safety matters above all.
