Why would the trailer be a total loss? Did the school have insurance? The school took the trailer all around. Any of the destinations could have had people looking inside. The trailer may just need re-assembled. Did the school have video of all the instruments or serial numbers recorded for insurance purposes? A little work at the front end will save you a lot of work from the rear end.

Funny insurance only pays bottom dollar not full amount plus what's inside equipment belonging to the students would not all be covered

@@tylerbuckley4661 You can pay for replacement value. Costs a little more but yes! Do parents want to pay full price? They can pay for cheap insurance or pay a little more too. It might be better to split up the equipment than put all equipment in one place. This is the world we live in.

It all depends if they were personally owned or owned by the school. Everything owned by the school is covered. If students put their own instrument on there they may or not be covered. I know what you mean though.
