Very well spoken Big Tom. It takes a lot of maturity, professionalism and also humility to reflect on your performance (which you acknowledge wasn’t your best) and use it in a positive and constructive way looking forward. It would be great if a lot of people see this video and your message as it shows the importance of thinking positively and you show that very well here and very clearly. Fantastic message and good to hear that you are going to be looking at making changes to make you a ‘spicy’ and consistent competitor. You are certainly sitting in the top three in the world right now and I believe that you will definitely go down in history as the greatest stone lifter on earth.

Sometimes, you can't tell if someone is a true champion until you see how they handle a loss. You're handling this like a true champion. Winning is the easiest to handle for anyone. its losing that takes a champion mentality to overcome. Because losing for competitive people is extremely hard!

Having watched commentary about the show from Tom, Mitch and Hapthor, the 3 common themes are: 1) respect for the other athletes, 2) recognition of where they needed to improve for future events and 3) a desire to ensure that they put on their best performance - not only to make the podium, but to pur on a show for the fans. What a time to be a fan of Strongman
