Health inspector would have a field day with this place...
@SpectrumSwordtails5 жыл бұрын
Gukkor Gukkor maybe not. Odds are the health inspector would be to scared of the chief to even step foot in that kitchen let alone give it a bad health score.

The head chef should take an anger management class

Hahaha! Yet another industry where alcoholism (or other -isms) abound. To control such an endeavor, with so many 'working parts,' as it were... Chef Gordon Ramsey was probably once intolerable to work for. That's just a guess about how he had to refine his own process, and mental health, and can now *teach* others, without blowing his top at every little twat thing he encounters people doing inside of kitchens or out.

The waitress saying “Orderings” has been engrained in my head almost a solid 2 decades now. And I maybe only saw this once almost 20 years ago.
@2ndpersondancing2 ай бұрын
*"Order in," meaning a new order of food is being submitted.

Is this why it takes so long to get food at a restaurant
@2ndpersondancing2 ай бұрын
Try it! I think everyone could benefit if everyone had to work for 2 weeks in a commercial-grade kitchen, especially a restaurant where food is cooked to order. The complexity of the thing is largely missed by most people who frequent restaurants.

Did I miss something or was this all a single take?
@GeminiWoods Жыл бұрын
One single shot, yes. However, they did something like 80 takes before they finally got it right. There's a making of Stomp Outloud floating around on the web somewhere.

When I watched this back in middle school band class, all of my friends there where pretty sure that they locked the health inspector in the closet as they are literally drumming with pots and a garbage can on the counter, where they are making food. Also who is ordering a excessive amount of cucumbers, carrot and a pot of flour. Like huh.

*"[New] Order in", for which each item must be calculated and accounted for to know what to put to cook when. When such calculations and execution are done just right, each "order up" gets delivered to the table for all seated at the same time, fresh and to the appropriate temperature, i.e. hot food is hot, cold food is cold.
