Can we floor level tie beam/plinth beam poured concrete on compacted sand ,which back filling and compacted properly..... compacted sand blocked by 10 inch around wall......my question- I don't want bricks masonry wark under the plinth beam.

I feel like this kind of building takes us back thousands of years. Why would anyone want to build with this rubble when we have cinder block and concrete poured foundations. Unbelievable!

Natural, large stone foundations are all distinctly original and have their own character. Most concrete foundations I have seen develop cracks. Perhaps they were not thick enough or the subgrade was not prepped the way this video explains.
