Thanks . Great playing , best lesson I’ve seen for the solo section and explained in an easy way to understand ( even if I have to keep going back 30seconds 20 times on each section !) maybe one day I can play somewhere close to your level. Ime 2years in and feel pleased that I’ve stuck it out because it’s hard going at times . But very rewarding . Thanks again

Lol, I remember (drunkenly) actually playing this about 7 -8 years ago outside a pub with mates. It was probably a lot worse than what I remember, but hey it got me a nice lady for the night lol. I've just come back to it to learn more seriously and I love how simple yet stylish it is. Classics tend to have that trait. Innovative but so simple nobody thought it would be so powerful.

I’m just on a marathon on watching your videos and learning stuff. Have you ever thought of doing “She Bangs the Drums”? I haven’t seen any good tutorials yet and I think you’d be able to do it. Also you don’t have ads on your videos. I don’t know if you just don’t want to but I think you deserve ads on your vids!

Hi Ant, another great lesson. I can play this one but I particularly like the chord integration at the start of the instrumental section I’m going to try that out. When I play the instrumental part I hammer on from 6-7 on the A string. For the choppy part which sounds more like the original to my ear. What do you think? Also in the outro I like to ad the over dubbed part which is 6 on the B and 8 on the G (bend note up) . Not a criticism just points for discussion that others might want to try too. Thanks again for this one and looking forward to more of the same mate. Cheers!
@AnthonyFernsGuitarTutorials6 жыл бұрын
Yeah it's a tricky one, a lot of it is so low in the mix and drowned in effects it's almost impossible to decipher haha! I'd say fair enough regarding the hammer on 6-7 on the A string, I was aware of the dubbed two note guitar riff at the end, but I had a lot more difficulties trying to make this video (re shoots, editing etc) than I think anyone will realise haha and so decided to leave it out and just publish it!
@jameshall994 жыл бұрын
Hammer on 6 to 7 same. Don't like the chords too much in the lead up to the instrumental just bass notes sounds cleaner, then hit some distortion. But good video. Also the outro with bends like he said and some wah ;)
@mikeboulby4 жыл бұрын
I'm loving these tutorials, but I'm really struggling with the chord integration on the first instrumental section. I'm still a beginner and you just went a bit too fast for me to pick this up. I must have re-watched this part 100 times and still don't think I'm getting it. Is there ANY chance you could insert a bit more detail in how you do this part please?

Slow it down and watch what strings and notes he plays and do the same thing 👍

If your still sticking to the Stone Roses for the next few videos then might I suggest "Made of Stone"? Also I don't know if you ever plan on it but maybe even "I am the Resurrection" in the future. Great tutorial as always

Good tutorial mate. Noticed you didn’t reset the fret numbers when you used a capo, a lot of people normally do. Didn’t really impact the lesson badly though good lesson
@AnthonyFernsGuitarTutorials6 жыл бұрын
Hi Jay! Yeah it was an intentional decision, I did 'erm' and 'ahh' about it (and re shoot it) but I decided the frets/notes are what they are regardless of the capo is, that was my reasoning anyway but cheers for the feedback great to see more comments on here!
