There is no other "feel good rock" quite like STP!!!

So glad I got to see them in 93. I was 14 and Scott weiland is and was a thing of such beauty. He's got that perfect rock star hot ass swagger. That dancing he does is fucking hot too!!"

The bull horn worked SUPER well live. I love STP like a virgin loves Princess Leia. I saw STP live 7 times between 94 and 04. I'm sad for folks out there that haven't. Our old retired band got to steal their original ideas. I feel blessed that I shook hands with Scott in 94. I was in a long line, I wish I could've known him. Better than the Doors, more creative than ____? Fill in the BLAME 😛🇺🇸

STP was my Led Zeppelin of the 90's. Just an amazing band live or in the studio. Its a shame Scott let drugs get the best of him for such a long time. I think it shows in his vocals in recent live performances.

What a great song! Dan DeLeo wrote had so many awesome musical inventions on guitar! (He should have added more of his sweet lead guitar riffs over this one, like they did in the rockin' cover version "CRACKERMAN by SOFA KINGS in SF" - a very nice tribute to STP for sure!)

Last of the true rock star front men. You wont see another one like Scott ever. Hes the last of a dying breed: a fucking great rock n roll front man. The way music is now and the world in general people like this don't come around.

I'm 60 years old, and have seen and heard a lot of rock music. And I agree. Scot is up there with Hendrix and Plant.

lancetop Wow I wasn't going to put in that hallowed ground but hes damn good. I've seen him about 6 times with Velvet Revolver just the definition of a fucking rock star. Comes out in SS regalia with the bullhorn just too cool.

Billed as a "surprise show," STP's first official concert since Weiland's release from prison and drug rehabilitation had actually been hyped for several days on a local radio station, though the venue wasn't announced until the day of the show.

I like Nickleback, 3 doors down, Saving Abel, Shinedown, there are still some good rocking bands out there. But STP is definitley in my top 3 90's bands along with Alice in Chains and Soundgarden

@fayezif You know, you are right. For a while, he was looking pretty bad. I just checked for some recent 2009/2010 pics and you should look too! He looks AMAZING again! Really! He is about 42 now, I think. For all of the hard living, he is still a sexy beast. I am happy to see it. I wonder if his voice is still in good form? He really is quite talented and charismatic.

Wtf are you talking about. Yes over the years his voice as deminished and lost alot of the power behind it that it used to have. but that what decades of herion addiction will do to you and your body. His voice isnt what it used to be but back in the mid 90s when they were at their prime his voice couldnt be touched by anybody else except Layne Staley. Layne Staley will always be the most incredible voice in rock music.

@myPAINisSELFchosen85 that sucks bro, gotta say it's the worst decision i ever made in life, i guess you need to remind ur self everyday what took you to that rehab, and realize it can stop here or make it worse, i had to go cold turkey a few weeks ago, my wife caught me scoring 3 times within 24 hours the only reason im clean is cause i cant score, the wife scared off all my local connects within walking distance, and since i'm unemployed now, she takes my truck so i cant hookup elsewhere

I would argue Chris Cornell was a better singer than both. either one of them did not have Chris Cornell's range vocally. Yes I loved there music, but Soundgarden "outshined" them when it comes to singing.

I love STP, but sorry, not a great Live band. Cool band, but Weiland's vocals are NOT dominant in a live setting. Sorry, but true.
