The designs look incredibly tacky, cheap and as if its been sloppily thrown together to quickly cash grab - you would think coming from creative people the quality/designs would be better. Honestly, Doug's vids are uglier because the hd quality doesn't fit with the flat lighting and colors. Brad's is better to look at because the colors and lighting fit the camera quality better than with Doug's vids. If Doug didn't do skits, the video quality wouldn't be as much of an issue, but because his videos are 80% skits and 20% review, the lack of visual competency in regards to the lighting and color grading is much more noticable and harder to look at.

One I missed out on due to...personal reasons. I decided to watch this one because you recently did "Halloween Kills", and I double featured this movie with the sequel last night (in 2022). I really dug this movie, I have to say David Gordon Green did a great job with this movie. I especially loved all nods to the 1978 movie, way to show respect to the original movie. I also loved the bits of humor they put in, like the kid's reaction to seeing Michael Myers for the first time, priceless.

I was genuinely surprised by this movie. Despite some incredibly silly moments and writing, and coming off the heels of the ridiculously over the top previous movies, this one was surprisingly restrained and didn't go completely over the top with the gore, swearing, cheesiness, etc. I just wish it could have been more tone consistent. It felt like it was trying to be both a serious and a campy film at the same time.

As a former hater, most just don't give it a chance it doesn't have Myers so that is enough of a reason for them to hate it. I gave it a chance again after 20 years when I got the Scream Factory boxset and I love it now.
