The transition between Eruption and Stones of Years has to be one of the smoothest I've ever heard! Love it.

That's because it's the original, you nut - with mere seconds supressed at the beginning.

Not an extended version, rather the first two songs of side one of the Tarkus LP - Tarkus (instrumental) with Stones of Years beginning around 2:32. Progressive Rock at its best! RIP Keith Emerson and Greg Lake. And thank you, Carl Palmer, for continuing the legacy of Emerson, Lake and Palmer!

Has the dawn ever seen your eyes? Have the days made you so unwise? Realize you are Had you talked to the winds of time Then you'd know how the waters rhyme Taste of wine How can you know where you've been? In time, you'll see the sign And realize your sin ..ahhh ahhh ahhh ahhh Will you know how the seed is sown? All your time has been overgrown Never known Have you walked on the stones of years? When you speak, is it you that hears? Are your ears full? You can't hear anything at all

I remember hearing this song on a Jim Ladd radio show called Headsets back in 1993. Instead of getting to the last verse of this movement, it fades out at the 5:00 mark and then segues into another another artist's song which was somewhat disappointing. Thank you for posting this in it's entirety.

Here's a crazed and revolutionary suggestion - just go buy the album.............

That used to be really annoying back when I recorded cassettes from the radio.
