christian almli Haha so much butthurt. And no I listen to a lot of different genres of metal (mostly) and also rock. I do find this song more interesting than typical Stone Sour songs which most of people here were waiting for and got mad cuz they got something different. That's quite unique song for Stone Sour. Not unique in general music but for Stone Sour it's quite experimental.

Interesting lyrics. There's either a really weird political statement in that song-title, or they're just having fun by saying "Taipei person/Allah Tea" instead of just saying "Type-A personality." Lol The song itself, sounded MUCH better the second listen. Not sure if it suites the Stone Sour sound (I wouldn't make this a single.) But, it's a good experimental song that captures classic rock & modern hard rock elements. Good stuff 🤘🏻

HOLLY SHIT, the drummer is fucking killing it. Hydrograd is underappreciated. In the genre that sounded always cartoonish (heavy metal), Corey and his band mates, took the best elements from it and they upgraded it to a whole new level, with raw, analog mixing. We can clearly hear that the whole record was recorded live, without sampling. Top notch sounding cymbals, snare, heavy toms, cool kick - lot of bass, lot of cool guitar solos and at some spot, we can hear multiple guitars. Taylor has lot of to say on this record and has lot of raw energy on vocals. I would say, that Hydrograd sounds heavier than Slipknot after Iowa. It is because we can hear heavy bass and heavy drum tone, which they are making Hydrograd much more heavier. In expensive headphones, it is porn for ears. That part at the end, when drummer is putting his sticks on snare and we can hear talking in studio... HOW COOL is that???

God, stop this bullshit with "I see why Jim left" "Jim is missing here" "It sucks since they fired Jim from Stone Sour". if you hate Stone Sour without Jim so much why are you even checking their new songs if you're so biased? Saying shit like that won't change the fact Jim was fired. So move on and go listen to Slipknot and stop shitting on Stone Sour only because of one missing member. I think Christian is a great choice and I hear his talent especially in that song. Give him a chance like you did with Jay in Slipknot and stop fanboying Jim. There is also very talented singer here!
