Hey Stonnie that was awesome. I think you succeeded in training the trainers, rather than just passing a few exercises on. Thank you.

I am getting my first ever puppy in 4 weeks time. The wonderful lady i am getting my puppy from seems a natural with her dogs, however, she is not a trainer. Andrea, my puppy supplier highly praised your training KZbin videos. I have just watched the first 2 and i can understand why she so highly recommended you!

Got my two 6 month GS puppies to learn down in 5 days. Had to change Sit down to just Sit because they got confused. I like Down better then sit. When I'm talking to somebody, I tell them Down. They lay down and are in a position.

Is there a reason you use the English show lead instead of a regular leash attached to his collar? thanks.
@StonnieDennis8 жыл бұрын
+Catherine Crummett I like those little show leads because they are small enough to carry around in your pocket, are light weight, and do a good job of staying high enough on a puppies neck to help with control...

i noticed in a lot of the puppy videos that you are getting them into positions such as sit, down, stand, stay. when do you start incorporating the words to the movement. also what about hand gestures for them as well. thanks

Do you approve the concept of letting the dog work for it's meal or do you feed the dog before training it? I read different opinions on this.

Hey Stonnie are you keeping the food tight in your fingers so they have to work at it? Or, do you do both? From video it looks like both...if so how long does it take to train them not to bite while getting the food?
