Yes stocks are pretty unstable at the moment, but if you do the right math, you should be just fine. Bloomberg and other finance media have been recording cases of folks gaining over 250k just in a matter of weeks/couple months, so I think there are alot of wealth transfer in this downtime if you know where to look.

Since the crash, I've been in the red. I’m playing the long term game, so I'm not too worried but Jim Cramer mentioned there are still a lot of great opportunities, though stocks has been down a lot. I also heard news of a guy that made $250k from about $110k since the crash and I would really look to know how to go about this.

Humans are sad creatures. He talks like he knows something. The historians and scientists still look for answers that he's willing to spit out to those with status. I don't need to be where this human is. Men have no lost what they had. They just don't see a reason to use it. This made me feel less of a man just for saying I'm not. Love doesn't work? Why marry? Why have kids? Why act and speak? This video has a horrible message. When I think of men of the times he talks about. I see men that saw humans as toys meant to be used for the betterment of my people.

okay i'm pretty sure i get this guys point but there still were inherent flaws in how people in the 1400-1500s (as he refers to,) lived. we stole this american land which im grateful i live here but definitely feel like the pioneers were flawed too. as a wise man once said "american hypocrisy oh let me count the ways.. they came here seeking freedom then they end up owning slaves." -Jcole I state this because I think many people are trying to figure out a way to live without killing eachother off, although that unfortunately still has yet to be a reality. Not to mention, this earth is getting pretty close to being overpopulated. I think this video promotes big dick energy with only a little bit of room for thinking of other perspectives. We've got so many global crises to solve so the fact he promotes competing so much really is alarming to me.. Choke on that

It was so great to hear the "Sticks & Stone" quote because thats what I was raised on which seems to be taboo or evil today. The sad thing is im only 45 & this new weak mentality seems to have taken over fast. They also used to teach that falling for "Peer Pressure" is bad & today everything is about letting others pressure you into what to think, feel & say. They will try to destroy you if you dont fall to there peer pressure. Everything is the complete opposite of what I learned.

He says the guys should act like they have a pair, and he usually refers to men. I think that this advice should apply to both genders. Girls/women should act like that too. I'm a young woman, 30 yrs old and I'm learning to be stronger and stay hungry. Just 2 days ago in the NYC subway, I pulled back into the train a guy who was about to jump on the rails. Nobody else intervened, they just screamed, both men and women. Another man touched me in an inappropriate way in the streets of NYC. I didn't call the police, I didn't scream. I chased him and punched him in his fucking face. These are attitudes that I have learned over the past years. Also, being an international student, heavily taxed every month, and in debt since I also have to help my family, is pushing me outside my comfort zone, to avoid the paycheck-to-paycheck situation and to search for other solutions to my financial problems. That was the model that my parents followed, but I don't blame them, we lived in an ex-communist country, and opportunities were limited. However, that won't be my reality! I didn't have any holidays this summer, there is no difference between Sunday and Monday for me. Also, I don't like violence, I want it to be my last resort, and feminity is ok, being in touch with your feelings is ok, but I will never be a snowflake, some of us don't have the luxury.

I don't get the hype about him. As Peterson said we increase the life quality in every part of human life since 16th century so why should I give any fuck about the pressure of handshakes? There are some strong quotes won't lie about that but this mindset at all is just toxic. I'm curious what he says if he has medical problem and the doctor won't do anything against it because he says it dont give a damn about my responsibility because love and this shit doesnt work. This guys mindset stuck in a different world.

My hardworking pops and uncles subscribed to all of these principles. "Don't cry like a girl." "Hit back!" "Be a Man!" None made it past working class. What tough-talkers like Pena need to acknowledge is that luck and privilege had as much to do with his success as any "masculine" principles that he's adhered to. Meanwhile, OVER reacting to pressure is just as bad (if not worse) than melting under pressure. I admit that my initial impulses can be reprehensible. My jefito also taught me that a real Man knows how to exercise restraint and remain calm under pressure. NOT be a bully because it's easy and convenient but strive to be Righteous because that's the challenge of being a Man.

Love your God above all is still the greatest of commandments. Love your neighbor as you love yourself, still the runner up. Love is still the answer, such as having some damn love for yourself so you can love others. Society has hijacked and perverts the idea of love and drags it down to a sexually ambiguous and righteousless level. This man isn't gentle, he's opinionated and harsh, but he loves something. He cares and that's why he's out here with his message. He loves something and that's why he's hated. Wholly correct or not, that much is obvious.

People don't like Dan. It shows that these people, don't like the truth. Dan speaks the truth. Everyone needs to stand up for themselves, be confident in yourself and your abilities and NEVER be afraid to fail. We only grow WHEN we fail. Spirituality teaches that you MUST believe in yourself, love yourself and be confident in yourself. That is the truth. For too long we have taught our children to not be selfish, that loving yourself is selfish and wrong. Bullsh*t!! You can only be confident by loving yourself, by believing in yourself and knowing that you, Yes YOU! reading this, you are all there needs to be. You are all that is needed. Don't give your power away by listening to and believing what others say about you. Only whay you believe is what is important. THAT creates self asteem, that creates confidence. It doesn't mean be an arrogant pr*ck, it means be confident, be assured and believe in yourself. I believe in each and every one of you and I have never even met you!! You CAN DO ANYTHING you put your mind to. Ignore what the rest say or think, and as Dan would say, "Just F*cking Do It!" Good luck. 👍👍👍

You are right! Yes, he tells 95% the truth... But we must admit that Dan sometimes push a little too far when he says that love and relationships are not good, that emotions and affection are for the weak etc. With such exaggerations and illogicities he can become toxic sometimes. That's his biggest problem, and that's why many people don't like him, because his philosophy is a little too harshly masculine and blunt, that make him sound like a psycho with no feelings.. I know he's not obviously, but that's the impression he gives to many!

Dan Peña thinks he lives on an island and that what happens in the rest of the world doesn't matter as long as you personally reach your short term goals. No one should take professional advise from someone as short sighted as Dan. Be aware professionals, this guy doesn't know what he's talking about. If you don't account for the market and ecosystem of changing conditions, you and your business will ultimately fail. Treating people well is a 'crazy' idea but it's kind of a basic requirement to succeed so gone are the days where this morons advice looks good. His idea of being hard is really "Ignore the reality of the rest of the world, it won't come to bite you in the ass, I promise". His idea of being soft should rather be framed as being pragmatically responsible for all outcomes produced by your decisions for the best long term management of the context. If you're smart, you won't view it as "hard" vs "soft", instead you'll see the META and apply it for best results. If you listen to Dan and you like what you hear, chances are you have a short term mindset and will only achieve short term results. Many can't be told new things but only reaffirmed in what you already want to believe. Are you here for that reaffirmation? Dan will do that for you with this echo chamber to keep you down and to profit from your current position. Don't fall for the immediate satisfaction that comes with feeling justified to resist the direction the world is going. Instead be better, work smarter which includes treating your greatest asset with care and understanding the expense of treating people as fungible. The world is changing for a reason and its all perfectly natural. You can either learn to ride the wave or get rolled. One takes some work and the other is more immediately validating to the old way. Be strong and take the mature more scalable path.

To better understand and appreciate Dan Pena's take on love, one needs to realise there are two kinds of love: Strict Love (Fire aspect) and Gentle Love (Water aspect). Dan describes what is essentially the separation of these two kinds of love. What seems to be missing is the now-critical-need for humans to return to the origin, the ability to function from a base of unity centred on True Love - the harmoniously balanced unity of Strict Love (Fire) and Gentle Love (Water). When choosing this harmoniously balanced unity - with emphasis based on the Fire aspect - humans will regain the capacity of functioning from the space of Divine Love. This then allows True Health Harmony and Prosperity to flourish in everything. Dan at times talks of something similar - just in his own unique language - and to view everything else based on Right and Wrong is being shortsighted.

I also do well with this degre of truth... Had a choice of 4 shifts at my job. Second in command, I picked the shift with the "horrible, rude, aggressive " first in command. Thats my boy now. Blunt truth is the best and most people just cant handle it. He dosent even fit the description he was given. He just calls bums bums and managers weak when they are. Just truths.

I'm willing to bet that if Dan walked into a local bar in my area and talked like this, he would get knocked out and leave crying. He wouldn't understand that his money had no merit. If I've learned anything in my life, it's that money does not define a man. Having money helps but doesn't stop the bleeding.
