The thing about photographers from decades ago is that they were the pioneers. They were the first to get their foot in the door and make an impact with their photography, and that’s is the reason they are celebrated and well known. With greater access to cameras and technology there are now so many more photographers making extraordinary photos on a daily basis. It shouldn’t detract or make the newer crop of photographers work meaningless though. I hope I’m making sense?

If it makes you feel any better, for a lot of us amateurs it's creators like yourself that we compare our work to and get insecure, all the way down it's just insecurity looking up at others. Except there's probably some ancient photographer somewhere living in a cave photographing interesting rocks who is living a zen existence and fully at peace with what they produce.

Agreed, there are those like the protagonist in Perfect Days who photograph purely for their own enjoyment... sometimes I want that life 😂

Yeah, I also take photos of dogs. I can't resist to photograph dogs and bikes.

You do what you do. Why is it so complicated? Who cares what anybody else thinks.

I'm a dog and cat person, thanks for watching!

Maybe you mean you don't like dogs. Because hating someone without a valid reason is a bit extreme. I mean, I certainly don't like dogs, I am a cat person, but I definitely don't hate them.
@DavidMBanesСағат бұрын
@@godofredo0409 I agree hating someone without a reason is not good, but last time I looked a dog is a dog, not a "someone". My reason is being mauled by a dog as a child, and because of that I get nervous around them which they sense and start to be overly attentive to me, which scares me. I avoid them at all costs. We have two cats. :)

Am I not paying attention to the video? Cuz' I can't understand the relation of the title which is about blaming camera gear, to the actual content of the video which is about stop copying other's work/technique. I was expecting you will explain that even if you have an old camera, you will still take good photos and dismissing common advice these days that "you need full frame body, you need this pro lens, micro 4/3 suck and other smol sensors, etc etc". Or you really mistitled this one?
@GeorgeHolden6 минут бұрын
I was trying 3 different titles, you saw the odd one out! I have like 10 videos with the content you've described, so you might like one of those 😂

Probably, but this may be useful after a couple of years, depending how often you're practising
