I try to make everything I can from scratch at home, but never puff pastry. I am definitely going to try your recipe ! I usually make an onion jam with balsamic vinegar and put it on the middle of puff pastry squares just like you did. I crumble some feta or danish white creamy cheese (which is similar to feta cheese) on top, and just put it in the oven to bake. Bit of fresh parsley on top, and it looks so fancy and gourmet 🙂 I adore your from scratch videos! 🥰

They all look delicious, especially those pizza egg rolls. I recently watched Becky at Acre Homestead make a version of puff pastry and the one thing I noticed was that the butter had to remain as cold as possible (frozen). That's the secret to all of the layers, along with numerous folding. I think your recipe is *much easier and, with a few more folds, would yield almost store-bought dough. And the filling sounds delicious, especially with the caramel bits and chopped nuts. Yum! Thank you for sharing all of the great "copycat" versions of some delicious treats.

I love those egg roll wrappers. We used to add extra taco meat and cheese and rice. It was a tasty way to eat leftovers but make them so fun. I love pizza rolls so I might have to try them. I don’t use puff pastry normally because it is so expensive but super great recipe!!

I’ve made puffed pastry before but I think I layered butter between each fold in the dough. I bet you need to roll the cheezit dough out with a pasta roller! That would probably be perfect! Great job! You inspire me to make more and more homemade!

I haven’t tried it yet from homemade, but you can buy them frozen, so I’d say yes! Probably best reheated in air fryer, oven or fried again.

You do know that you should shred your own cheese instead of buying the packaged. They have so many preservatives or are cheese food rather than real cheese
