Homemade, fresh bread is probably one of the best thing ever. Especially with lots of salted butter hehe

Girl, you outdid yourself! You cooked a meal, made bread (I need a dutch oven) and bagels, cleaned, washed clothes, and heaven knows what else. And took the time and effort to bring us along for the ride. You are such a motovation and inspiration to us. I'm sitting here drooling over the soup and sandwiches , along with pudding for dessert. Note: Luke needs a can of Reddi-Whip for the truck.

This video has brought back many memories. My dad would often make Sunday evening "Breakfast" supper where he would cook pancakes and make homemade syrup. It was the same recipe--so that one is really old! Also, I grew up making pudding and never used a box until well after I was married. My two favorites were Chocolate and Butterscotch. Love your videos.

@@SouthernWifeEverydayLifeYou may know this but those jars have been around for some time and can be found in most grocery stores and big box stores like Walmart in the jams and jellies section. Of course you have to eat the preserves they are filled with but that’s never been a problem for me 😂. They are more expensive than most other brands but worth it since you also get a reusable jar.

@@connieb6841where do you find lids to fit the Bonne Maman jars? My regular canning jar lids don’t fit on there.
@connieb6841 Жыл бұрын
@@bhallmark3390 The lid that comes on the jar has a silicone seal in it that makes it reusable. I’ve never used them myself for canning since I own dozens of Ball jars and don’t can as much now that I’m an empty nester. I use them for storage, like in the bathroom cabinet. Homestead Tessie cans with them on her YT channel, she stated she uses each one 3 - 5 times. I searched Amazon for Bonne Maman’ lids and found several different brands that may be compatible. Hope this helps.

@SouthernWifeEverydayLife Жыл бұрын
You don’t need a bread machine for any bread recipe. You can do it by hand or mixer. I bloom my yeast add everything into the mixer knead till comes together and ball forms. Nothing on the side. Knead for 5-10 minutes. Cover and let double in size. Shape, boil, top and bake ❤️
