EXCELLENT Video! Thanks for the great tips.. I've only been trying my hand at woodworking for about 1/2 years so lots to learn - that said, one of the first things I bought / built was the MicoJig dovetail clamps and made several jigs including a cross cut sled, taper jig and several jigs for more accurate cuts with a circular saw.... and I have found them to an amazing company to work with..tech support is off the charts!! Thanks, Larry

Thanks so much for watching! I agree 💯 that the Microjig clamps are amazing, I'm waiting to get more of them 😁

Have you seen how to use them for glue-ups? They are amazing when used with the green X-Pads. I've used them many time and they are especially good for small glue-ups like coasters etc. I must sound like an advertisement LOL..

@EEEZSolutionS haha I havent used them for that, but a great idea for sure!

check this out kzbin.info/www/bejne/b3S3eGuhn5Z0oJI - I did not make a new jig for this because I have dovetail slots on the workbench I use - I clamp a straight edge on one side with a couple dovetail clamps and the use one, two or three (as needed) on the other side - the are amazing... as I said especially for smaller glue-ups.

Best way to tell if a wood worker knows their stuff… the direction they feed their thickness planer sled in. I always laugh when I see people feed it in with the butt stop going in last 🤦♂️ And yeah, a straight edge jig is a must have. The fence on my saw isn’t perfectly straight, it’s got a tiny deflection in in middle. Grrrrr…. So I just glued and screwed a board to a runner for the miter slot. I’m not to the point where I have cool clamps like that yet, so just use double sided tape to stick the piece I’m cutting. Or the old blue tape and CA glue trick. Works like a charm 👍

Yes, definitely need to have the planer sled butt stop first so it pushes the sled through. If what your doing on the table saw works, then that's all that matters. Thanks for watching!
