So did God break His promises to Jews? No. Paul makes this clear in Romans that God is not finished with the Jews. The Church does not replace Israel.

Manis’s hubris is so unattractive and not representative of of the Jewish way. At least as far as I have participated and studied. He takes a valid position that as soon as you begin to debate you have lost in some sense. Then extrapolates it to everything. Also Darwin didn’t say we come from apes. Science and religion don’t argue with one another. They are addressing different questions. Science-how. Religion- why. This absurd position of pinning religion against science is not necessary, not beneficial and not Jewish. And to say that our understanding of the Torah has not changed… I call bullshit. To the degree that there is truth to that. Maybe it’s the reason we don’t have the third temple. This dogmatic insistence that he comprehends God , His world and His Torah. That there is nothing to further grasp. All he needs to do is share it with the world. Sounds like idolatry of certainty. I can keep going but, I’ll stop there.
