@BlueBird Homestead I'm trying it today. I am going to coat the soaked pea seeds in cayenne and plant them. We will seeds if thr voles enjoy their pea seeds with a little spice or not.

I've heard this before and I tried using it in my backyard against Armadillos and Raccoons. Unfortunately, when we have afternoon rains quite often weekly in the summer it was getting expensive and the Critters seemed to get used to it. I guess I should try using it now during our dryer months to train them to stay away. Thanks Cara💓👍💓 ♥️Peggy♥️

Hi Peggy! I can't say we have armadillos here haha, but yes I can see it getting expensive if you are having to re apply every day. If you try it again do buy it in bulk it is much cheaper than buying it from the grocery store. 😃-Cara

Haha It sounds like you have your hands full. Lucy would defiantly eat the fertilizer right out of the bag if I left it open on the ground. Thankfully my grandpas trick has helped her not dig up my garden to get to it. I am not sure it would prevent your corgi from rolling though since it has to do with smell. 😃-Cara

Lucy is still the best! My Milo and Idgie LOVE to dig and play wherever they shouldn't. This might be the trick to fix that. I am also planning to put up green net fencing around my non-protected areas just so the dogs have a visual barrier and won't barrel through as easily. Absolutely. If there's one thing I can't stand is the damage a dog can do to my garden. Some dig holes in all the wrong places. Plus some tumble and roll over the tender blooms. I recommend using citrus peels, cayenne, or vinegar sprinkled throughout the garden as a possible deterrent. 😊😊🌼🌼🌼🌼
