6 Reasons to Stop Using Canola Oil Immediately: bit.ly/2HHx2El
Do you know that you probably have rancid oils sitting on the shelf in your pantry? These oils are found in abundance in the grocery stores because they are cheap to produce, but the reality is these oils are harmful for our bodies, and I recommend you stop eating them immediately.
The fats in these oils are exposed to light and air, which oxidizes the fat and turns them rancid. The oil is then boiled to remove most of the solvent. The high heat and pressure destroy antioxidants and alter the chemical nature of the fat, creating dangerous free radicals.
In this episode of Ancient Medicine Today, I share the side effects of eating these dangerous oils as well as five better oil options that are beneficial to our bodies.

I am a 69 year old man. I remember as a child both my parents were real thin. They grew up on lard and homemade butter. They switched to veg. oil and shortening. They both became heavy and both of us boys became obese. Changing my eating habits now. Thanks Doc for the info.

I remember growing up, my grandmother used lard for EVERYTHING! Lard made the best tasting pie crusts, fried chicken/pork chops, etc. Also made the best hair/skin moisturizers. Although she's not around anymore, I find myself gravitating back to some of the old ways these days. Thank you Grandma Ethel! 🦋🙏🏽🦋

Thank you so much. I had no idea. I remember 10 or more years ago it was said that canola is better than vegetable but tests and discoveries keep turning up but no wonder why there are so many heart attacks and obesity. I bet Macdonalds don't use any of these oils. Maybe you should talk to them into trying to change their oils. Thanks again. 👍

You can actually notice the difference on your skin when using it topically but also internally. The other thing that is crucial to this great news Dr Axe shares is to make sure you exercise and meditate, your whole body functions better in good health by addressing all of these things. Coconut oil, avocado oil, sesame oil and ghee (clarified butter only for my kid) have been the 3 oils I use and have noticed that I don’t feel heavy anymore no matter how much oil is used in my dish. I’ve also noticed that light tasting olive oil which is labeled suitable for frying gives me a heavy feeling and I feel spasms moving in an S shape assuming the intestines so in case you notice then watch out for olive oil also. Just my 2 cents.

India had been using ghee in cooking for ages. Even today most of the parents avoid baby food and feed the babies with warm rice and ghee as a start.

I have stopped cooking with vegetable oil for years now. One thing I like to point out is if you ever noticed when cooking how the oil sticks to your cabinets like plastic and you have to practically chip it off. I knew this cant be good for us. I can imagine what it is doing to our arteries. So NO MORE ARTERY CLOGGING OILS. Bake, broil, or boil when at all possible. If not use only healthy oils. Be Healthly Mind Body and Spirit!

@@AhmedAli-jc1dl I choose - after some research - for cooking grapeseed oil or olive oil - originally from Italy or Turkey or Greece. And for salads extra virgin olive oil, hemp oil, sesame oil etc. And also try to choose the organic version of it. Hope I helped.

@@enikosimo1831 I've tried hemp oil, it's an aquired taste, but I have ground hemp protein powder that's high in protein- 20 mg, you can use it in smoothies, on salad- I also make soap and have used it along with buttermilk powder in it and it's really great. I've also drank organic hemp/coconut milk and it's also high in vitamins and minerals. Grape seed oil is best in cooking because it doesn't break down and turns into trans fats and is full of vitamin E and Omega 3's.

@@AhmedAli-jc1dl Grape seed oil is the best because it doesn't break down into trans fats like the other oils, don't use canola oil but grape seed oil, I also have a fatty liver and it is slightly enlarged as well as my spleen, I suffer with fatigue because of it and I'm also diabetic. I don't eat tons of food all day long, in fact I don't eat enough which makes my sugar bounce around, but I just bought a Crock-Pot (slow cooker) today and I'm going back to stewing vegetables and eating healthier. Beets is excellent in cleaning the liver, also dandelion leaves which is great in salads with spinach and in teas, there are a ton of herbs out there but I wouldn't jump in and start taking everything- even though they might sound good because there are certain foods you cannot mix with medications, and sometimes can become fatal- like mixing grapefruits and asthma medications, and also statin meds for lowering cholesterol, you can't eat grapefruits while taking them. A better way to fry with much less oil is to coat a baking dish or metal pan with oil and bake your food in the oven, you can still get that "fried" taste but still eat healthier, steaming is the healthiest but sometimes bland, you can do half steamed and saute the rest of the way- hope this all helps! 😄
