Ye Im eating Blue Diamond crackers (supposedly a healthy alternative) .. read the back label and it’s got safflower oil. It really is il everything. Avoiding these oils from our own part is a passive move. We should demand and protest companies remove them and go back to traditional saturated fats. As a truck driver, although Im not over the road anymore, I had no choice but to eat crappy truck stop food filled with these oils for years. It’s simply not fair. THEY must stop. Not us

@@Mark.Watson Avoid anything processed. Sauces, cooking oils, mayo, margarine, butter that is anything except made from milk only. Cheeses that arent made from milk only. Goes without saying anything processed and packed in a plastic bag is a no go. Only buy raw/whole foods. That means no minced meats, sausages, cured, smoked meats etc. Only whole cuts. Cutting out all that junk still leaves you with a huge variety of foods. Red meats, chicken, fish, dairy, eggs, vegetables. Only animal fats and butter if you tolerate lactase. And no, junk food isnt cheaper than healthy food. First of all junk foods are empty calories that only ruin your health. So even if youre spending 1.5 to 2x for good food youre saving your health and you can eat half as much and still get the nutrients needed to more than thrive. Making the cost overall the same. Only people who might spend more are people into body building pretty much, as they need to eat 1.5 to 2x more than avg person.

And it’s funny to see the contrast of the countries the U.S tried to criticize for consuming saturated fats, such as Malaysia and the Philippines where heart diseases were drastically lower if not almost non-existent. Best evidence is to see how healthy the people are and look at their food choices and life styles. People can blabber about all they want but at the end of the day if you’re overweight and have a ton of health problems you need to look objectively at your life choices and what your country is feeding you.

My mind is blown at the sheer stupidity of all of this. I just didn't know. I thought vegetable oil was healthy, and tried to avoid animal fat. I started researching a bit because I found out I have very high LDL cholesterol. Now I know why: inflammation. Thank you. I have done a lot of research and am very surprised at how completely unambiguous the studies really are on this topic. There is no debate here. I will be making a lot of adjustments to my diet, and transitioning off these high oleic, ultra-processed oils in favor of things like grass-fed butter and ghee.

Incredible! Sure, seed oils lower LDL, but so does arsenic. The true arsonist is oxidized LDL which seed oils increase, and saturated fat decreases. This all stems from a fundamental misunderstanding of cholesterol and it is truly the greatest cognitive error of our time.

Safe oils/fats: butter, animal fat, lard & tallow; Avacado oil, olive oil, coconut oil, all of which must be pure. If these oils are diluted by cheaper vegetable/seed oils they will be the cheapest brand when compared to their competitors selling a pur version of the same product & it won't show up on the ingredients list so beware of purchasing the cheapest or very-cheap fat products (coconut oil, olive oil, Avacado oil, butter, lard, tallow). Thank you for this, and for trying to help people!!!!! My wife found some videos on seed oils a few months ago. I quit eating chips, and other things with seed oils. I started checking the ingredients in everything I bought and realized that 99% were using seed oils as fillers??? In all products??? I thought I was doing something healthy by eating salads every night. Then I realized all the dressings were 90% seed oils. Couldn't understand why I didn't lose any weight??? I cut out the seed oils, and I've lost 20 pounds in 2 months!!!! And I thought I was already thin??? I was 5-11" and 168 lbs, and went to 148 lbs just cutting out seed oil foods. I was in shock because I thought I was thin already!!!! But weight is not the most important thing, I can't imagine what those toxic oils were doing to my health overall??? My sleep is better, I have tons of energy, and feel like my brain is firing twice as fast. I'm just at the beginning of my no seed oil journey, and I can't wait to see where it takes me!! I eat tons of cheese, and cook everything in butter mostly, some olive oil, and lard. and I keep losing weight. And I eat a ton of whole wheat bread, and pasta. This is insane. Everything everyone says about health should be questioned. You just need to experiment for yourself. But I agree with this video. STAY AWAY FROM SEED OILS.

Three days ago I ate some fried chicken (a lot) and the next day, I noticed my knee pain come back. I asked my father-in-law, who lives with me if he noticed his “arthritis” pain. He said yes, he felt the tightness in his hand. I knew then that consumption of this oil was causing our inflammation. Fried food is NOT the problem. You forgot grapeseed oil in the list of processed oils. There isn’t a lot of information about Palm oil but it appears to be safe and unprocessed just like coconut oil. Palm oil Has been discredited by certain parties as palm tree plantations in SE asia are bad from an environmental perspective (no different than a large solar farm or any mono-culture farm). However, since the Russian invasion of Ukraine in Early 2022, palm oil exports from Indonesia have been banned to address food inflation. Plantain chips from Peru I used to occasionally buy from my dollar store as recently as a few months ago used Palm oil and was one of the few products I’ve seen made using Palm oil. I just checked and they are now made with “high oleic sunflower oil”, presumably as Indonesian exports have dried up.

6 years ago I had a heart attack! I had used rapeseed oil to cook meat in thinking it was a heart healthy vegetable oil. I haven't used any seed oils for past 3 years. I use ghee, olive oil and avocado oil. I read every food label so won't buy any processed foods with seed oils. I make my own mayonnaise. I use Irish butter. I've given up buying white supermarket bread And cakes and biscuits etc. As a treat I buy sourdough bread made by a small local bakery but on the whole I've cut back on that too. Haven't had indigestion in years having suffered from it in years. I could never work out what caused it. Now I know. Processed foods with seed oils and other non kitchen additives. I can't understand why the medical world and our own government have not acted.

Yesterday I wanted to buy some chips for the housewarming party and started to see the labels on the packages and literally every package had ingredient as vegetable oil 😟 like I didn’t want to buy these and I start to hesitate even to eat out in the restaurant’s. Cus they for sure use these poison oils to make ther food. Although I don’t eat often outside. This is crazy how the creed and money for the big companies are everything, they don’t care about your health. Literally don’t give a damn ass . Sick people are good for big pharmacy also.

I think we got them late in Oz: When I was in my late teens, I went into a supermarket and saw all these bottles of oil lined up on the shelf, "where did they come from" I thought. It was the late sixties and it wasn't long after that, I noticed a young woman walking in front of me with her tee shirt resting on her hips and wondered how could she let herself get like that. She wasn't fat by today's standards of course.

I worked for a machinery company that often did business with a Crisco plant. That plant was such a foul-smelling, disgusting place. Once that oil "dried" it was like glue, and very difficult to clean from our machinery. To think that people consume tons of this vile substance -- _and think they are eating healthy_ -- is mind-boggling.

According to dr.sten ekberg avocado oil also goes through a harsh refinement process. And the only real safe oils for cooking are ghee, butter, talo, and olive. What do you think about this? I have always believed that avocado oil was safe but now he has me thinking.
@analyze.and.optimize

You probably shouldn't go out and buy avocado oils, but instead the oils you mentioned (+coconut). But if we're talking about avocado vs. seed oils there is still no comparison.

if you look very deep into the variables it is mucked up with stuff like some culture groups and genetics being more at some risks than other for some stuff in a moment of clarity and then it dumps you down into a pit of unownable separation between genetics and epigenetics. The advice to take is one from like 50 years from now.

What about peanut oil? i understand that it is easier to get oil out of peanuts (less heating and fewer solvents) but peanuts are in the same family as soy so I don't know if it is any safer or not.
@rajeevdsamuel
@rajeevdsamuel Жыл бұрын
The main fatty acids in peanut oil are oleic acid (45-53%), linoleic acid (27-32%), and palmitic acid (11-14%). This oil specifically has long-chain saturated fatty acids such as arachidic acid (1-2%), behenic acid (1.5-4.5%), and lignoceric acid (0.5-2.5%). the toxic PUFAs are linoleic acid, linolenic acid and all their varients

Great video, but you do your viewers a great disservice when you suggest Olive oil and avocado oil, because 80% of these oils are fake, compromised, or mostly canola oil. Just cook everything in butter, ghee or beef tallow to be safe. And good luck finding a restaurant that doesn't use trash oils.
