It's refreshing to see someone in my age group who is aging naturally (and still beautifully). I'm just tired of seeing women who have no expression lines, and whose foreheads never move. And I'm tired of seeing all the lip and cheek fillers. Thanks for showing us it's okay to age naturally.

Wow, you are a breath of fresh air…I am 58 and feeling inspired to love myself better this year…I’d love to let my hair go to its natural color and love to go all natural on my skincare…it’s just scary because I’ve bought into the whole beauty anti-aging industry all my life. But as I age I really see how important it is to be healthy in every way and I know putting chemicals on my skin and hair is not it…I’m a bit overwhelmed but I’m just going to begin by following your advice one step at a time. I don’t mind aging but what i do mind (think about honestly) is my health and well being. I want to feel good about how I look, feel, and contribute (ability to contribute, to fulfill my purpose in this life). I thank God because I can honestly say from a young age I took care of my health & skin and went to the university with a lot of sacrifice. But I am a work in progress. Discipline, knowledge, self esteem, faith play a huge part. My life has NOT been exempt from trials, tribulations, & triumphs. Life has taught me I can’t always control what happens to me or my family but I can control how I react to what happens to me. Discipline is something good to learn from a young age. I’m new to your channel and am enjoying the segments on castor oil & milk of magnesia (MOM). I never knew I could use MOM as a mask. I just tried it and love it. ❤️ Can you wear serums at night under the MOM??? Castor oil? Thank you.

I’m so excited to get my Peaches Skin care face wash and moisturizer. I drink water for the most part and coffee after that. Lately I’m wondering if coffee is not good for skin as it ages? Do you have a video on that? I’ll have to check out your client page and see if that’s something I can do? Too, maybe. On another note, O ha e a friend that is taking Ozempic and just had a bunch of plastic surgery. She’s beautiful but she doesn’t look anything like the person from before the pandemic. I prefer natural beauty and aging. So I’m doing what I can towards that end.

@@heathersheartco I think a cup of coffee is good for you🧡 As long as the coffee is organic. It is rich and antioxidants. @ I’m definitely thst person. I’d lost 100 pounds prior to the pandemic and gained 90. So I’m working on losing it again. My brother takes it, under doctor supervision, because of his diabetes. My concern is the people who take it for weight loss. Okay. But they have to stay on it and once they go off it the weight comes back. And it doesn’t change the core habits of what caused you to gain the weight to begin with. That’s my theory. I guess time will tell in the next few years what happens to people who take it on the regular.

It would never even have occurred to me to inject anything or stress about aging when I was 22. The beauty of being young is that you don't think about being old, or fixate on future lines, etc. These are manufactured fears and standards. Maybe I was lucky because I had great skin all my life. But I don't think it's just that. I always took care of my skin, yes, but I did not fixate on my face. I was much more interested in living a passionate life, learning, studying, traveling, and romance. The vanity and narcissism of the social media age and living online is what has generated all these artificial insecurities and made them 24/7 preoccupations. If no one told us we need Botox, we wouldn't think about Botox or fear facial movement. My forehead moves and always has, but I don't have wrinkles because I take care of my skin every day. My 19 year old students, who could barely bother to get out of their pajamas for class, yet would obsess about Botox and dermal fillers. I've always said I like looking and feeling good, which takes work and time, but I only really feel beautiful in the eyes of someone I love. It's really important not to *cave* to our basest instincts and worst insecurities and fears. That takes strength. Everything is fear mongering now. Historically, the most beautiful women (my mother being one of them) were also the most interesting and stylish women. Frozen fake faces were not beauty ideals, and whenever someone had a face like that we all thought it was bizarre and scary. Frozen faces are the antithesis of beauty--at any age! I grew up in NYC art/film world, and was around very stylish and beautiful people all my life, and none of this was part of my upbringing. No one wants to sag, but the fine line hysteria, and which is preventable using other natural methods as you always say, is just bizarre. I've never taken a photo with a filter in my life either. One question though, Lisa, why do you always criticize things and then backtrack by saying, "And that's okay"? It's contradictory and confuses your message. You clearly *don't* think it "okay," and that's why I like and watch your channel. We need this stance. Either take a position or don't. But being wishy washy sounds like pandering and it's what everyone does in this age of hyper tolerance. Just my two cents!
@PeachesSkinCare12 күн бұрын
@@AgamovTT3038 So beautifully said! I don’t backtrack. I just don’t want anyone to ever feel unwelcome. I have had people send me pictures or emails me daily and tell me how ugly they feel and how they have to do injections or they don’t feel pretty! IT IS HEARTBREAKING!! Part of my journey is to be sure that I help them through. YES, I don’t like fillers and procedures ( trust me I have seen more than anyone ) I don’t want people changing their faces, I want them to love their uniqueness. However I love everyone and if some people are fixated on doing injectables or changing their face because they have no self esteem or perhaps they love it? I want to be there for them as well. Never pandering. You would understand if you saw the pictures I see and read the emails. I get 🌺🧡🍑🍑🧡Lisa

20 year olds have no business messing with their faces or bodies. It is perfect at that age, it doesn't start to go bad until mid to late 50's. I think if your face looks too perfect it looks weird. You should be aging gracefully. I think if you eat right, exercise, stay hydrated and moisturize every day (and practice gratitude) you will do that, but most of all you will age NORMALLY. Fake hair, lashes, nails, botox eyebrows (u always look surprised), huge lips, capped teeth are all stygmatized now so it looks odd to be too perfect. It really isn't how you look it is your personality and demeanor and heart that count. I wish young people would concentrate on longevity instead of looking like a barbie doll, it will keep them healthy longer and they won't feel the need to mess with anything. this is a recent pic of me and I am 62 so don't tell me it can't be done. Be kind to yourself ladies, you are all you've got.
