Lisa, my daughter's cheeks are sensitive, red, dry and chapped (she has always had some redness to her cheeks but things worsened in her teenage years). For the last 3 days she has been applying castor oil to one side of her face and Triple Butt Paste to the other to see which one would calm the redness, bring some moisture, and stop the chapping and broken capillaries. So far the castor oil seems to be doing a slightly better job. HOWEVER, she has freckles that she loves and she doesn't want them to fade. (She got made fun of as a child for having freckles but one day an Irish woman told her that "a face without freckles is like a night sky without stars," and she has loved them ever since. 😊❤ Will castor oil fade her freckles? If so, can you recommend something else to heal and protect her skin and preserve her freckles? Would MOM help? I'd be glad to purchase something from you if you think it would help. Keep in mind that she is low maintenance and more than a couple steps wouldn't fly. Sorry for the novel but I appreciate your help.

Hi, I’m 69 and have reasonably good skin for my age. I get tiny milia spots and wonder if Milk of Magnesia would help. I’m worried that it’ll leave my skin feeling very dry in the morning. Do you apply it after cleansing or do you put your serum and moisturiser on first? Thank you 🙏
@PeachesSkinCareАй бұрын
@@triciaarmitage1060 Milia is an indication of thick and callous skin. You do most of the damage to our skin by your early 20s and this is even documented in the journal of medicine. This is from bad skin care products, bad sunscreen, foundation, and concealer using too many actives, and even the water in your home. Because of this the skin calluses to protect itself and because it is an oil loving organ, the skin pushes out oil to the surface to help itself and it gets lodged underneath thick skin and this is called Milia. Milk of magnesia does not drive you out I would never recommend it to my clients . Wearing a mask to bed at night is a game changer. Milk of magnesia or Peaches revitalizing rescue masque. At night is when the body purges impurities through many of the organs, including the largest organ of the body the skin. Wearing a mask to bed helps to draw out impurities from the pores that are really hair follicles. It is anti-inflammatory, it is healing, It is firming and revitalizing rescue Mask has the added benefit of being lightning and brightening. You Do your whole nightly routine a couple hours before putting on your mask this includes all of your serums and moisturizer. I also use my Peaches oil to do any facial yoga or Massage once I am relaxing in front of TV😉🌺🙌🏼🧡🍑Lisa

Hello Lisa! I'm new to your channel and have watched 3 so far and I do like it very much! Like you I've never worn concealer, unlike you my skincare routine only consisted of Cetaphil lotion and sunscreen. While in France many years ago I was chatting up a lovely older woman, very chic, of course. She had the most beautiful skin and I asked her what she did as far as a skincare routine. She told me she uses milk (lactic acid) and also warm/hot water to warm up the oils caught in the pores and a washcloth. That's what I've done ever since and it has served me well, sans du lait, of course. My memory was triggered when you made your presentation, which brought me to a very happy place and time in my life, riding my bike through Europe. Thank you for that. 🥰 I will be reaching out soon via your email 🤓

I just used milk of magnesia for the first time overnight. It's the second time I've used it, but the first time was just for a couple hours. Well, it's unbelievable that my milia is totally gone!!!!! Except one stubborn one on side of my nose. My face has been covered with milia for 6 months after using a heated red light device with an oil, probably castor. I never even heard of milia before!. I'm 63 and am experiencing just about every negative aging sign to the nth degree, then to add this was unbelievable to me. I was doing very mild at-home chem peels that were very slowly helping. I was not even expecting anything from MoM regarding milia. Didn't even cross my mind. What a wonderful surprise! I am so happy to come across your channel, thank you so much!❤ everything I came across said that there was no cure for it, but I found one!😃

@@MeShellMaBelle I am so happy you saw the results using Milk of magnesia overnight. Be mindful not to use read light that heats up. If it gets to hot it can harm your skin at a deeper level. I also do NOT believe in chemical peels. Look at Peaches Miracle Mask natural pumpkin and papaya enzymes. The reason you have gotten Milia is that you have burned or harmed your skin and it is thickening to protect itself. The skin is an oil loving organ and so it is pushing oil to the surface, and the oil is getting lodged underneath thick layers of damaged skin. Be gentle. 🙌🏼🧡🍑 Lisa

I’m not sure about looking like a umpalumpa! 👀took your mask suggestions and just whipped up a batch of the ingredients you recommended and combined. I didn’t have manuka so swapped raw honey as I heard that helps lighten sun damage. So I used my mortar and pestle to grind up the salicylic acid, added honey, milk of magnesia, and the turmeric. Will be interesting! What ingredient in the milk of magnesia is so beneficial? Thanks Lisa!

I’ve done the baking soda and would probably pair really well with the aspirin. I like the aspirin mask a little better than the baking soda. Baking soda to me is for once a month. How often do you do the baking soda? I just listen to my skin what it seems to need and that has worked out so far!❤️

Emily🍑 There should not be a stain that stays. Just rinse and do your routine😉 Have a lovely week Emily🙌🏻🧡🍑Lisa

@@emilybrooks4406 I always say to only do baking soda 1-2xs a week or every other. The aspirin mask is completely different. You can mask once a week. Hope this helps. Have a blessed week Emily🙌🏻🧡🍑Lisa

Hello! So excited to have found your channel! I look so forward to improving my skin through these wonderful suggestions and products! I appreciate your knowledge and experience and the value of what you offer here as a skincare expert! ❤️ My question is, how long do you keep the Milk of Magnesia on at night? And can I use it again in the morning? If so how long in the morning as well? Thank you in advance! 😊

Do you put the milk magnesium first and then apply the castor oil before going to bed?
@PeachesSkinCare5 ай бұрын
D🍑 I only put milk of magnesia on my face or now I use revitalizing rescue mask by Peaches and I only put castor oil in different areas like above my eyelids and under my eyes and on any mark that I might have but not with the milk of magnesia or the revitalizing rescue mask I hope this clarifies🧡🙌🏻🍑Lisa

Hello. I just found your channel and I am super excited to try your products, I have a very sensitive skin and I normally don’t try anything new unless I feel comfortable that it won’t cause more damages..do you offer virtual consultations ? I would love to talk to you about my skin care needs 😊

Nancy🍑 You can trust me and you can trust my products and you can trust my routine. I don’t believe in sensitive skin. I believe everyone has normal skin and it is what we do to our skin daily, weekly and monthly that changes it. This can be bad skin care products, bad sunscreen, or foundation and concealer . We are having our Mother’s Day sale now. It is one of the biggest sales of our year. I encourage you to take a leap of faith and trust me and trust the process. 🧡🙌🏻🍑Lisa
