Wow! This was an amazing video and extremely helpful. Thank you so much for taking the time to do this. I myself also really enjoy the research and planning process. I haven't been on a vacation since 2018 and initially I thought we wanted to do another cruise. I had it all planned out and was planning on putting the deposit down tomorrow but as I started researching shore excursions I couldn't help but think that there is so much to do in Cozumel, Cancun, Playa del Carmen.... And thought I'd end up wanting to go back for a week after the cruise which led me to think maybe I should just do that instead of the cruise 🤣 so here I am, starting the process all over to see if a week in the Cancun area would be a better option. I will definitely be following along with your steps and printed your sheets. I just have a couple initial questions as I begin this process if you don't mind: 1. You mentioned the resorts really lacking in terms of options for teens. I'll be traveling with my 14 year old daughter. Any resorts you recommend that have really delivered for teens? 2. Unfortunately I kind of have to travel around her school break schedule. This year her vacation is lined up with Easter / starts April 1st. I don't mind pulling her out a couple days early or coming back a couple days late. From your experience, is this peak spring break time? Is there a better day of the week I should aim to arrive or even leave, that might be cheaper? I'm assuming weekends will always be more expensive either way. Thanks in advance!!

Thank you so much for watching it! I def put alot of blood, sweat and tears into it LOL!! And I change my mind all of the time after doing so much research lol! So for teens - it really depends on your budget and what she likes to do! I've only been to the Grand at Moon Palace for families and it is great but also has drawbacks like the beach! I've also heard that Hyatt in the Cancun Zone is great, Planet Hollywood, Hard Rock, - we did go to Majestic Elegance which could be good if she just likes to sit on the beach and doesnt need much to do! You should join our Facebook Group too! Members have been to alot of different resorts! Other ones I've heard are good is Club Med (pricey) and it's not all inclusive. facebook.com/groups/572572378298675/ I think anyway you travel during Spring Break time will be busy and more expensive - however try leaving really early from your destination - Sundays and Tuesdays we have found are quiet early in the airport - also when you are departing Cancun avoid the weekends!! We usually depart Wed afternoons and it's not too bad but I have never been during Spring Break. Look forward to connecting in the FB group!

Great videos! I just re-watched your video about Le Blanc Cancun from earlier this year. I believe you mentioned you visited at the end of Jan. early Feb. Why do you only go for 3 days and 3 nights? Why not 7 days? I have to go at peak season because I’m a teacher. I end up generally at 4 star because it’s in our price range in April.

Depending on what kind of beach experience you like. I love the hotel zone because of the turquoise blue water and the waves. If you don’t like waves then maybe like at Excellence Playa Mujeres but Jan-March. We’ve been to the Sun Palace a few times. The food at night is so so but we like the size. Le Blanc is high end luxury and kind of boring but nice. I’ve heard Live Aqua is great too
