Yes they can. Ours are not iron. They are stainless steel

I am very sad that I bought it with the Walther PDP pistol and when I saw the plastic spring, I was disappointed.

Are there no other compensators beside ZR's Comp that will work reliably with the Ultra Mass guide rod? How about Parker Mountain Machine's single port comp PMM-PDP-DUTY-B?

You will have to check with PMM. The Walther/PMM guns work great. Herrington will not at all

Yes they use more springs force where we use less. Totally different theory on recoil. We are balancing the system

The extra weight of the UM rod helps decrease muzzle flip on its own as the rod is effectively part of the frame and not part of the slide. (It does not move.)

The LSGR has a heavy rod in it, but there is not sufficient room in the slide for a rod as girthy as the Ultra. TLDR: Nope.

Please don't laugh! Adding the higher weight assembly for reducing muzzle rise in a pdp-f. Does this make it harder to rack as that was a feature of the weapon. I ask because I was told that. Would adding a weighted back strap help keep the original balance/engineering? Thanknyou. Wanted any advantage for my lady friend.
