Man this is one of the most, open, smoothest, good workflow eqs out there, its pretty much my new standard mastering EQ on Final Mix and Master bus.....

2:03 “Amek never made this.” “Oh yes they did!” 😂

This plugin reminds me of being at work.....alot of knobs
@johnisrael5183 Жыл бұрын
Oh and the fact that its not ADDING that digital brital plugin sound to your mix...makes it perfect anywhere in the mixing and mastering process...with this you can buy this and use it as your only Quality in the Box EQ you need...really a money saver

Joker. Falling asleep during explanation. LOL 🤣Thanks as usual, fella's.

So turn off the video and watch something else? I enjoyed it.

@@smujohnson I wasn't referring to myself. As one of you's was talking abut the product, the other yawned. As if he was tied. That's what I was referring to.

I think Visually its one of the easiest full mastering eq plugins to use, meaning, this wont kill your creativity, you can use your ears more with this, opposed to Kurchoff or Fab Q3 I think this just more Pro...in my opinion
@StudioLife101 Жыл бұрын
Totally agree. Encourages using your ears....not your eyes. 👍
@MIHAO Жыл бұрын
got too many EQs already. would love something like a crossover between Pro Q3 and a vintage EQ/console emulation - pre-determined curves, saturation, etc. but a modern user interface suitable for mouse and keyboard
@JoeyFTL Жыл бұрын
So basically the Kirchhoff eq but with added saturation
@JC-bu1zj Жыл бұрын
Probably not what you're after but Analog Obsession do BlendEq which features 2 different Eq models you can.. well blend together.... only 4 band though... but its very nice... well... as nice as eqs can be!
@smujohnson10 күн бұрын
Look at the Pulsar 8200. I don’t own it but it seems close to what you’re describing.
@MIHAO10 күн бұрын
@@smujohnson Yep, Pulsar gets it. Cheers
@smujohnson10 күн бұрын
@@MIHAO I’m not sure about saturation and harmonics, but maybe. That brand also has another EQ modelled after hardware called “Massive” but I like the look of the coloured knobs on the 8200.

Very ,very EQ

I deleted my previous comment about this. Craig Bauer uses it too, and like Sean, prefers the Amek 250 over the 200 EQ.

It's really nice, the 200 is my favourite so far, 'tight' ;-)

I love the GML hardware...but weirdly I Iike the 250 plugin more....but never spent much time with the Sontec in hardware form....👍
@TheGurner1 Жыл бұрын
@@StudioLife101 I think with the plugins, for dance tracks maybe the 200, for anything like a ballad the 250. my way, find the 200 sharper, the 250 smoother - but it's subtle, more of a vibe ;-)
@smujohnson11 күн бұрын
Did Sean pick the 250 over the 200 EQ because he already has Pulsar 8200?
@StudioLife10111 күн бұрын
@@smujohnson kinda....just prefer the 250. The 8200 gets used more though...👍
@smujohnson11 күн бұрын
@@StudioLife101 Wouldn’t it be better to just skip the Amek 200/250 and suggest waiting for a sale on the Pulsar 8200?
@StudioLife10111 күн бұрын
@@smujohnson Possibly...but every now and then, the 250 comes in handy...👍

I think Dan Worrals video showed that this eq cramps
@StudioLife101 Жыл бұрын
Which video? I saw the 9099 one....and his big cramping explainer video...but nothing on the 250....
@smujohnson10 күн бұрын
I haven’t seen Dan talk about this EQ, but there is another video on YT here of the 250 cramping that I watched about 10 mins ago.

i dont know who PA is owned by but whoever they are they dont care about providing quality customer service.
@smujohnson10 күн бұрын
PA is currently owned by Native Instruments and the ownership changed around the time of your comment.

It may be a stupid question... But I don't get it. Why would I use this over say the Kirchhoff in mastering?
@StudioLife101 Жыл бұрын
Try it….you’ll see. Sounds amazing and don’t use your eyes…just your ears. It’s the future…but really the past and it’s better. 👍

Hey guys, have you tried Scaler eq by plugging boutique yet? I definitely don't think it's shit but as you guys are the arbiters of shitness i await your verdict 👍🏾
