Remembering Daniel 2:21 In the end Father God Has chosen. "Thy Kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth as it is in Heaven"

Thought it worth sharing the verse you referenced but I’ve also added a little. “Daniel answered and said: “Blessed be the name of God forever and ever, For wisdom and might are His. And He changes the times and the seasons; He removes kings and raises up kings; He gives wisdom to the wise And knowledge to those who have understanding. He reveals deep and secret things; He knows what is in the darkness, And light dwells with Him.” Daniel 2:20-22 NKJV

I don’t know that being ignorant of what’s happening in the world is the answer.

Oh? How do you learn what you need to know about what’s happening in the world?

For a Christian to say “we can’t do anything about it” referring to bad things going on in the world, that truly saddens me. Prayer. Prayer for others to our Holy God through Jesus Christ A tool that only the Christian has. And what did God hear to “let them out if there”? Their prayers - their moanings. So strange how you talk about you can influence others and we can influence others. Seems so prideful. We pray to God and he does these things. What about prayer?

Spot on. We are the hands and feet of Christ, He directs us and works through us.

We recognize that God is sovereign, but God also often uses man to accomplish his plans. Of course, we should have a humble attitude regarding our accomplishments. But Greg often says, some things are 100% God, but still require 100% effort from man. We can place a stone in someone's shoe and rest in the fact that God is in control and will handle the rest.

@@STRvideos absolutely, I agree with that and yet prayer must not be forgotten or left aside. He said we can’t influence these things at all and that in my opinion is not really ever true for a Christian because we have prayer. And to just not even mention that is what I was talking about. And you as well didn’t regard that part of my comment but instead were again all about who accomplishes what. Of course God works through our efforts. My point was that prayer should be first and in cases as he was speaking about it would even be first and foremost. But to say there’s nothing we can do is absolutely degrading prayer to nothing.
