Stop loss ideas for Scalping. Where do you put your stop loss? You want to get out when you're wrong but you don't want to keep getting hit by market noise. OK.
Aggressive scalping and tight stop loss?
If you're scalping you might not want to use traditional stops per se' . If you're scalping on the long side for instance you might come out very quickly like just 10 or 6 ticks or even 3 ticks. However, I find that it makes sense to have a stop loss in place to act as either an emergency stop loss or something in place to stop yourself trading from say, the long side.
Stop-loss settings for scalping.
1. Candle Length
2. Indicator Signal
3. Fixed Ticks/Pips
4. Under Support or Resistance
5. Short Term H/L Break
6. Time Based

Hello, I love your videos. A quick question though, what time frame is best for scalping. I hear you make citings to a 1 minute time frame, is that the best?

Hi Emmanuel - thanks for the feedback, appreciated. Yes a 1 minute is good for scalping. Some scalpers will use ever lower timeframe but I think a 1 minute does all you need. (don't forget to get some context on the move by looking at the higher timeframes though!). thanks, Mark

Excuse me my noob question, but should i place stop loss considering spread or not? example: 1pip SL and 0,5 pip spread , should i put my SL at 1,5pips away from entry? thank you so much!

clicked on this sooooo fast....I don't think its feasible to use a stop loss just buy deep in the money
