Thank you for this video! Now that I am heading into my senior year, I feel pressure to pick the 'right career.' I realized: that whatever path I chose, it'll just lead me to a different journey--It won't be the 'wrong path.' Also, picking the "safe decision(right)" can limit my abilities and dreams.

Very well said and put together! I hate taking risks but learning through books of philosophy and statistics I learned that nothing in life is promised to us and uncertainty will always be there so respond to it when the outcome is brought to us instead of hesitating because of irrational fear, like the saying goes “fortune favors the brave!” Reflecting back trial and error has helped improved my career in the long run. I actually started off with very difficult managers to work with that expected way too much for the position and what they were paying me! Over time I learned that maybe I need to reassess what to look for when being employed and concluded that I need to screen potential managers more carefully during interviews instead of not asking enough questions and just answering the potential managers questions to get the job which often times leads to being trapped with a very toxic boss. I know my place when it comes to employment and you are always at the mercy of your managers so having a manager you can easily communicate with and have matching realistic expectations is what I look for and that’s what I currently have with my job! Also I used the criticism of my old manager to really assess my skill sets and improve them which helped me exceed the expectations of my current boss. If I started my career with my current boss I don’t think I would know my priorities when it came to my career and would have probably taken my current managers kindness for granted and not improve the skills I had to exceed her expectations! Same can be applied for everything else in life. Every mistake is an opportunity to reflect and improve on the next try!

This video has made me think 🤔 as it is so true. I struggle to make decisions as you said in the video - I am scared to make a wrong decision. So often I will procrastinate to make the one until it is too late to postpone decision. But time has been wasted on not making any decision until I am forced…😕😣 This video is so true

@@ProductivityGuy- The Voiceover. I usually listen to videos on KZbin while I game. I have set the volume of the game such that the Voiceovers are clearly audible in the video even if there are sounds in the game. In this video, I had to pause the game and increase the volume overall to be able to hear things clearly. You can compare this by playing other videos and switching to this one.

So, the right decision - the decision that gain relevant experience. So if you loss money and gain irrelevant experience - this is really bad decision !
