@@purelightlove8888 it’s fine for practice and it’s fine if you have nothing else. But some beads you might want to try something else.

But the brush of nail polish is narrow (generally small) and a bit stiff, so it will be more laborious. Not to mention that even the cheapest nail polish with sparkles will come more expensive.

These are so lovely. Just wondered why you don't use a core like some people do? I can't get cores right anyway so i prefer your method. Also, i wonder if instead of oasis i could used a polystyrène block?
@SqueakerChimp2 жыл бұрын
I just use oasis because my mum had some. You can use anything. If you mean using a plastic straw in the middle of the bead and rolling around that, I don't do that for two reasons. 1 the home is too big and 2, you can not get plastic straws in the UK now. They are not eco friendly. Using as your bead walls are thick enough you will be fine.
@dianadevlin37172 жыл бұрын
@@SqueakerChimp by core i mean a roll of plain paper the same width as your bead paper. I don't really know why they do it, maybe to make the bead stronger?

How do you keep the glaze from drying and sticking to the picks that you let them dry on?

You glaze right up to it. Ideally the stick would not stick out one end, then you turn it over and do the other end

I think it would be difficult to completely waterproof a paperbead, a tiny crack and water would get in. You could certainly wear them out in the rain no problem but I would wear them in the shower or bath.
