We eventually moved to an area with whataburger and a coworker took me there for lunch and I found out it was basically a way better version of what mcdonald's sells.

I actually had that Captain Crunch pc game growing up. Basically, Captain Crunch gets his cereal from an underground society of hairy gremlins, but one day some big monsters come and threaten to destroy them and their homes, so you have to train a gremlin of your own to beat the monsters in an "Athletic Competition" I'm surprised Jon didn't roast the hell out of the intro cutscene that explains all this. It's goofy af.
