Hey, Sue, here's what Andrew said: While not currently available in beta, we are deeply interested in providing globalization capabilities that allow authors to make their way into more international markets. As for alternate voices - some users may prefer a single narrator instead of multicast, or prefer a given voice over the selection of the Author - this would be a way for that users to sponsor the narration of a project in the voice of their choosing. Again, these are not yet available, but things we’re are considering as we look at helping Authors to meet their reader/listeners where they are.

Readers access it at ihave.spoken.press/. To my knowledge, there's no app yet, just the website.

Thanks Dale, That is correct - we are very much about creating a great experience and realize that listeners will want to take the stories with them wherever they go. We have a few major hurdles to conquer first but for now - the web experience is where all the magic happens. That said we did work to bring a few critical integrations with IOS and Android to make the experience a bit smoother - native playback controls etc. Stay tuned for more!

Interesting. The terms say you can't download anything you narrate on spoken and distribute or sell it. That contradicts what they said in the interview.

Great attention to detail - candidly, we are moving fast, and will make adjustments to terms as our service evolves. Currently, we do not support download of audio but plan to enable this “Take It With You” functionality a few releases from now. We’ll update terms when that functionality is implemented.
