Hey new animators, just a quick heads up! Walk cycles are often one of the first thing people do, but they'll never stop being a challenge. Even well established animators still need to put a lot of thought and effort into creating a walk cycle, because there's so many possibilities and a walk can say a lot about a characters' personality. So if you find yourself struggling, keep your chin up! It's part of the process.

For those of you who don't have Premiere or Photoshop (which should be EVERYONE after the recent Adobe ToS changes) you can do the editing with DaVinci Resolve and GIMP instead

Hello, I am a beginner. I have three questions to ask: (1) You were using Premiere and Photoshop to delete " Rig", right ? (2) Why just using Premiere only to delete Rig ? (3) Doesn't Dragon Frame have functions to delete "Rig" ? Thank you very much !

As always awesome content. Thank you for that. When looking at your masking process to remove the armature from the images I wondered if this tedious process can be streamlined. I thought about coloring or covering the armature with a colored sheet. The color must be unique so that it doesn't appear anywhere else in the scene. Then you could use a "Bluescreen/Bluebox"-Tool to automatically mask out the armature.

Bit odd that the animation shown in the Adobe Premiere section of the video is different, it's a running animation and not the walking animation shown in the Dragonframe and Photoshop parts of the video, regardless you did a good job explaining what to do and how to do it so I don't think that really matters Good tutorial 😊
