Wow. This is great. Can’t wait to try some of this. THANK YOU.

To be able to draw or paint something, you must first be able to imagine the picture. The same applies with playing music, composing and improvising. This is a law that you can't ignore!

This is precisely what's missing in today's music and guitar players! Great job shedding light on this issue maybe more people will learn how to play music instead of sounding like they're reading out of a dictionary to communicate. I was in that trap for years. Look forward to applying what you share to add to my enjoyment of music as well

I tend to stay in the key of the first chord of the progression part I start on when I start soloing over. I will change position, to cover the area of a chord underneath in a barre shape, but always stay in the same key as the first chord I start to jam over. Is that too boring of a strategy? It seems to work ok enough, but I can't help but to feel like there may be a better way that may open up more notes. Apologies for such a dumb question.

Going from the 2nd to bend to the 3rd on that triad lick on strings 1,2 and 3 gives a Gary Moore vibe. Carving guitar...you had that one for a while!

@CharlieLongGuitar Carvin ( now Kreisel) namely isn't around anymore. Thank you for that "lightbulb" moment of bouncing back and forth from simple triads to P entatonics on this and that chord changes! I'm gonna try to tie that together some things on my fretboard( to untangle and demystify) It! I'll crowbar in a BB /Albert or even Freddie King box for that matter too! I picked up on you a couple months ago and subbed back then. You are definitely one of those good effective teachers and not bury the students in academics like Prof. Von Scalemeister!😂
