Just so you know, you can use Berf GY effect to summon without being locked into fusions. It’s only its search effect that locks you into it. 💪🏽🧙🏽‍♂️

If you go first it is way better to go with Beatrice detach the first fusion to send the barrier statue of darkness. During the opponent standby you fusion summ to special summon the diabell then you banish king of fantom beast to revive the statue

In the coatl plus patchwork line can’t you just summon the berfomet fusion first, dump diabellze, then go into the hand rip fusion, use berf effect to summon back diabellze, and just end on diabellze instead of sword knight?

Ceiling is a lot higher. If you combo uninterrupted you probably win. The end board becomes much harder to break. That’s true for most the meta decks though. Some of the cons are you have to run some bricks. You have 3x cards you want to draw and a few you don’t want to draw. The engine is also 9-10 cards or so which cuts into your no engine slots. People playing the engine have been going over 40 to mitigate the bricks.

Hi, thanks for the kind words! I haven't encountered Black Goat, but thinking about it, I don't see a clear cut answer. The most damage you can probably do is in response to a fusion spell, calling the monster that you're most afraid of at the moment (Guardian for boardbreaking, Illusion beast for OTK, berfomet for value)

Spoly I'm not too big a fan this format. As for Crossout: you have the space to run it in pure and it helps vs the Ash issue, but unlike Snake-Eye, the board this puts out is not oppressive, and you want to back it up with handtraps. I personally don't run Crossout, but you can sure play it

You should never have a chimera fusion effect in the final trigger of a chain because of ghost ogre. So in the original edge imp should be 3

In this instance yeah you could play around Ogre bc you don't need the Patchwork, otherwise I'm fine if they throw an Ogre on a fusion
