Refreshing to see an honest opinion on living in the burbs of Houston. People moving here from other states are very shocked how their 10-15 mile commute can easily turn into 45min-1hr or more. Native Houstonian here watching these builders raise their home prices has been insane! Just 10 years ago homes were going for $90/sgft or less to now over $200/sqft for the same materials and smaller footprint and in many cases less aesthetics is going into these builder homes unless you "upgrade". And let's not forget the lot premium too! Also what shocks most people not from Houston is the MUD tax, it's half the tax bill and not exemptible. Great video keeping it real!

Appreciate it. 😃 Hot and humid 5-6 months of the year..especially July August and September. May and June can also be hot but less humid. Highs mostly range in 70-90’s through the year
