The word VERY is one of the most overused words in English, and I want to help you avoid this word and greatly build your vocabulary. So that's why I'm teaching you many different words and phrases that will allow you to be more descriptive and precise when expressing your thoughts, opinions, and ideas.
In this lesson, I teach you two different ways to supercharge your vocabulary. The first way you can do this is by learning some different synonyms for VERY. I never thought about how we use "awfully" to mean "very," but we certainly do, and it doesn't have a negative connotation! English never fails to surprise...! 🤣

It's like the question, "Are you working hard or hardly working?" 😁 I think only British use "awfully"...

Hello Wes. "Fall Idioms" video, which I just watched, isn't open for the public, so this is why I am here... Yes, the material was interesting and informative. And your baby girl is CHARMING! The incrustations with your family made that video much more attractive. Thank you. Et à la prochaine.

You are right, Wes, it's almost impossible to remember and use spontaneously all of these stunning highly elevated words you just mentioned. Coming back to your remark...I can't generalize my personal vision and understanding of feedback, but it's definitely not only for buttering instructors up. Mostly it's for cooperating with KZbinrs and helping them to "grow up" - as your students. As Romans said "Docendo discimus." It means, you also need to elevate your level and qualification. So, don't expect much superlatives from me. According to my understanding, realistic and encouraging evaluation with certain moments which have to/need to be improved would be much more valuable for me than the word "breathtaking." No doubt, you are a knowledgeable instructor with attractive manners and style. I love your videos! "Breathtaking"? Rather no. Instead of J'ôte mon chapeau, monsieur. Allez-y, s. v. p. Et merci beaucoup. P.S. Et encore... Prenez soin de vous; nous vous avons besoin absolument.

Hello Wes! Greetings from a delightfully chilly and sunny São Paulo, Brazil! Hope all is well. Just a quick note to let you know that I've found this lesson incredibly amazing and tremendously useful. Your efforts to put together the videos are greatly appreciated. Speaking of adverbs + adjectives, to me, they make the English language so colorful and rich. American English is not only melody to my ears hands down, but also the BEST, by definition! To say that I am truly passionate about your mother tongue would be an understatement 😊 Alrighty then. I must sign off now. As always, please stay safe, stay healthy and I hope you enjoy the remainder of your week. Best! 🇧🇷

👨🏻‍🏫 Hello. Mr Teacher here in England 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿. Your English sentence is almost perfect. Add one word in this manner ‘. . . used in A positive way . ..’ Now it is completely acceptable. Well done 👏.
