My friend, stop misleading people with all kind of crap just to get more hits on KZbin. Low vitamin B12 intake is a significant problem in vegan diets due to the exclusion of vitamin B12-rich foods such as meat, poultry, and eggs. A lack of vitamin B12 has been linked to neurologic and hematologic problems. Also higher risk for bone fracture, bleeding issues and poor fetal outcomes in pregnant women. It's always better to have a balanced diet which also includes milk.

@@PowerfulVillain You're right. Generally speaking, if someone such as a YTber does an : " I'm no longer Vegan because xyz I was dying, had 🧠 fog, hair fell out etc" then I say they're a piece of SHIT & yes, they we're never truly Vegan. That said, it doesn't make sense to me to use this paradigm of : "He/She was never Vegan" & apply it to anyone who simply F- Up ! There are so many reasons that we Humans Fuck up. They could be : Drug abuse, Victims of both physical & Sexual Violence, Common & non- common Mental health issues , Substance abuse incl. Alcohol + the list is pretty long. Why are we Vegans? Is it to join the Vegan club & say " Go Vegan 💚". Or, is it actually for the Animals. If you have a Vegan friend who messed up & is NOT PROUD of Fucking Up then FFS just help them get back on Track. If he/she was Vegan & showed they were against Human Supremacy then in all likelihood they were. So, I don't subscribe to this 100% usage of : " He/She was never Vegan". I DO get why people say this & we can NOT afford to let YTbers get away with this nonsense about being Ex-Vegans & receiving a nice fat pay check from some meat Corporation. We need as many Vegans as possible in this non- Vegan world. So, please, let's keep each other on track rather than Police each other. As an Anarchist I'm very much against this Policing approach. Of Course, you don't have to be an Anarchist to be an Animal Rights Activist but it does help if you encourage people to return to Veganism rather than Ostricizing them which will most likely result in them chewing on Animal's flesh till they die; & justifying these behaviours with Human Supremacisy ideology.

@Studycet2 ай бұрын
There are three main essential omega-3 fatty acids: alpha-linolenic acid (ALA), eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA), and docosahexaenoic acid (DHA). Flax seeds only provide omega-3s in the form of ALA, which the body converts inefficiently to EPA and DHA. Our body needs EPA and DHA for brain function and other bodily processes. Therefore, you should consider taking omega-3s from algae oil, which contains both DHA and EPA. ALA can still be obtained from seed oils used in cooking. Additionally, it is advisable to check your vitamin D levels through a blood test, as most Indians, regardless of their diet, are deficient. About 3 out of 4 people are deficient, with 84% of those under 25 and 81% of those between 25 and 40 affected. Lastly, ensure that your vitamin B12 supplements are not sourced from spirulina, as it contains pseudo vitamin B12, which is not absorbed by the body.

Let's calculate for green peas instead: Cooked green peas (per 100g): - 84 calories - 5.4g protein - 14.5g carbs - 0.4g fat Cooked sweet potatoes (per 100g): - 90 calories - 1.6g protein - 20.7g carbs - 0.1g fat To reach 2400 calories, you would need: - 1600g green peas (1344 calories) - 1175g sweet potatoes (1058 calories) Total: 2402 calories This would provide: - 100g protein - 412g carbohydrates - 7g fat (dangerously low - less than green peas have less fat than chickpeas) The nutrient deficiencies would be similar or worse than the chickpea version: 1. Severe essential fatty acid deficiency (even worse than chickpeas) 2. Calcium 3. Vitamin D 4. Zinc 5. Vitamin E 6. Selenium 7. Iodine 8. Some essential amino acids This would mean eating approximately: - 8-9 cups of green peas - 5-6 large sweet potatoes This would be an even larger volume of food to consume daily compared to chickpeas. While green peas are nutritious, they have less protein and fat than chickpeas, making them a less complete source of nutrition. The extremely low fat content (7g vs recommended minimum of ~53g) would be particularly problematic for hormone production and vitamin absorption.

Essential fatty acids (especially omega-3 and omega-6) 2. Calcium (for bone health) 3. Vitamin D 4. Zinc (immune function) 5. Vitamin E (antioxidant) 6. Selenium 7. Iodine (thyroid function) 8. Essential amino acids (particularly methionine) This amount of food would be roughly: - 4 cups of chickpeas - 5-6 large sweet potatoes It would be quite challenging to consume this volume of food daily, and the lack of dietary variety would make it monotonous and potentially lead to digestive issues.

Chickpeas is a good protein source as well. Indians don't get enough protein because they don't eat high proportions of protein in their diet, regardless of where it's from. Those protein sources are cheap. Cashews is apparently really accessible in India as well and it's the base of so many things. Omega 3s from those seeds. B12 from nori. Yes, you can get pretty good B12 from food without supplements. Healthy slow digesting carbs and healthy fats as well. Even if you don't want to go vegan, you can eat far less meat and animal based products and you'll probably save money.

✅Disclaimer: I’m a non-vegetarian Indian Hindu who consumes dairy, eggs, chicken, mutton, pork, fish. I’m from rural south India 🇮🇳. 1) vulnerable populations like children, pregnant & lactating mothers, elderly should not try vegan diet, as it is an extremely restrictive diet. There may be few people who tried & were successful in vegan diet, but they did it under expert guidance. Since all can’t afford an expert, it’s better not to take risk… Children & pregnant need choline, omega 3, iron, folate, calcium, iodine etc. these are conveniently absorbed from animal sources foods. 2) this point is WRONG❌. Animal products like INDUSTRIAL / LARGE SCALE dairy, poultry, meat industry take up more land area, water resources, deforestation, mono-culture crop with soil degradation. And this happens in western countries like USA, UK, AUSTRALIA, CANADA where very 5-6 companies hold 80% of their countries animal farms… they grow corn, soy in thousands of hectares just to feed cows, chickens But the scenario in India is different. Here there are 100 million dairy farmers each owning 3-4 cows per house. This is acceptable bcoz, these cows are mostly fed agricultural byproducts like hay, weeds, sees husk from mills, & very little corn. This method is called agro-silvi-pasture. Here those hay, husk anyway goes waste for the farmer… so it’s better to feed those byproducts to cows, goats & convert into healthy milk, meat for humans. But even in India, now few people have started large scale dairy fam with 50-100 cows, 500 goats… so this large scale dairies should be discouraged in India to preserve land & water resources. 3) ❤ very good points. REGIONAL: for people in costal regions, fish is cheap, yet best form of nutrition. A 150 gram mackerel in my state coastal region costs 10 rs… chia seeds there is 250/ kg.😂 tofu 200 grams is 100rs… so what’s best for them to choose? Fish or chia & tofu..? Obviously fish 🐠. Socio-economic reliance: I own 10 backyard desi chickens in my village house. I get 3 eggs daily throughout the year for zero cost, bcoz my chickens eat grass, insects, leftover vegetables scraps. For me tofu is 100rs. What will I choose, egg or tofu for my protein. I have 6 goats which eat only the weeds from my 6 acre farm. For zero cost, I get quality meat every 2 months. I have 3 cows, which just eat hay in summer, grass in monsoon, seed husk. For zero investment I get 20 litres milk which is sufficient for 30 families. So small scale dairy, poultry meat , fish is viable & economical for costal regions. People who are too rich, too passionate about veganism can buy chia, flax, almonds, tofu & eat… But should stop imposing choices on others. And if we are eating animal products for nutrition , we should eat the bare minimum required meet the RDA, & include more plant products✅

1) The latest research studying tooth plaque of our ancient humans shows that human brain expansion came from the ability to cook root vegetables and not from meat consumption. Google 'brain growth early humans tubers' and you will find the study. The brain runs on carbohydrates, not protein. 2) Protein is a myth created by the animal industries. Human milk is the lowest in protein of all mammals. At birth the body does the most growth of bone, muscle, etc and nature shows we simply do not need a lot of protein for that. The protein myth came from the supplement industry. They learned they could sell whey to body builders for 20x the price they were getting from feeding it back to farm animals. The magazines had companies buying full page ads and so the magazines started writing articles about how the body needs excessive protein. Then the animal industries learned from this and started doing the same thing. The only way a person can be low on protein is to be low on calories. Our closest relative the silverback gorilla eats only fruit, leaves, branches, etc and have enormous musculature. You have been deceived to believe you need meat for protein. 3) The #1 cause of deforestation is animal farming. It is also the #1 cause of plant and animal extinction, ocean dead zones, green house gases, groundwater and surface water pollution, habitat destruction, antibiotic resistant super bugs and more. 77% of all farm land is dedicated to raising animals for food and only provides 20% of global calories. The other 23% of land raising plants provides 80% of calories. If people were to stop consuming animal products hundreds of millions of acres or hectares of land could be converted back to natural habitat. That is because it takes 15lbs of grain to make 1lb of meat. 4) Nobody is forcing anyone to do anything. The only force being applied is forcing animals in confinement and forcing them to slaughter against their will. Ironic that people claim vegans are forcing anyone to do anything by simply explaining the reality that we are force breeding and killing animals when it is not necessary. 5) Rice, vegetables, beans, etc are much lower cost than meat. Every developed nation in the world subsidizes the animal farming industries with billions of dollars. In the US for example we subsidize animal farming with $48 Billion per year and in India it is $50 Billion or 2.5% of the total GDP. So the prices you pay do not reflect the cost of production and therefore people pay typically half or lower of the actual cost for animal products.

@@veganm8918 protein RDA I agree… most active athlete aim for 1.5 to 2 G protein per kg body weight. I work in my farm & do 15 min HIIT everyday… I maintain a good functional muscle mass. My protein intake everyday is 0.9 gram per kg body weight which I achieve through 50 grams legumes, 30 gram lentils, 250 gram millets, 80 gram of whole eggs, 400 ml milk / curd. I eat fish / chicken once a week. If I’m aiming for 150 mg protein then whey is must. I believe in WFPB-Omni, so I don’t take any supplements , not even whey protein or plant based protein . I meet my daily B12, vit A, protein through natural diet alone

Evolution has nothing to do w meat eating, nor Choice. We did not get this brain due to meat either. Rather we got it due to cooking food. 1.it is easy to get sufficient protein. Beans,pea+rice protein powder, soya, chickpeas ,all these have sufficient protein. 2. Mass deforestation is occurring now due to need to feed livestock. You've got it backwards. It requires MORE energy to grow animals & kill & eat them, than it does to directly eat the veggies ourselves. There is something called loss of energy, see thermodynamics for more on this. 3. Actually we have full capability to provide veggies to everyone but due to aggressive lobbying from meat industry we don't. It is cheaper to eat veggies than animal products. Your conclusion is false based on false premises. We should not let others eat meat,it's like saying u don't have to murder but ,I will murder and u should let me murder. It is Retarded thinking. Use your brain bro/sis.

there is difference in sports persons and common man... as their main routine is to train and look after their bodies... have world class system to guide and get proper nutrition.... from vegan foods too.... but common man doesn't have time and money to plan nutrition according to vegan choice... as non veg. i just have too 1 scoop of whey after morning workout 4 whole eggs at lunch with 3 rotis, sbji and daal and 250 g steamed chicken with 2 rotis and sabji for dinner.... provide me all essential protein, carb, fat, micro nutrient, macro nutrient... in most convinient way.... if anyone of you vegans can provide same nutrition with convinient as above diet i will happily turn into vegan... 😊

Ok..My point is, if we are changing to veganism ,then chicken,goats and cows grows larger in population and carnivorous animals have enough food to eat and carnivorous animals like lion ,tiger etcc increases in population Right?? So is there any proven science that a lion or a tiger wont harm Human or kill humans if they get enough food....if ur answer is YES then try going near a lion or a Tiger which is grown by a humans affection and care and well fed by a Human without the help of that human who grew those Boys(i mean lion or a tiger)..(Dont say that why should i go near a lion or a tiger...because as u know if they increase in population the possibilies are we have to grow with them)what will be the chances of survival for you to come out of their circle without getting Harmed????😅?????DISCLAIMER : EVEN I LOVE TO BE NEAR AN ANIMAL DURING MY HARD TIMES THAN A HUMAN😊I LOVE ANIMALS TOO But....so can you answer me please
