You should have hold on little longer. When his really hungry, he’ll eat it. He even stayed home, so you could have hold on little longer. Don’t give up too easily. I know you don’t want him to starve but you should think your doing this for his benefit. When his in boarding school, this same thing is going to happen. When his not eating what is being served, they’ll take away the food till the next meal time. So better to start teaching him now. What if you hire a care taker for him who can teach him things for few hours? He seems to listen to other people. It may sound harsh, but I think your spoiling him. He have the mother’s love but your pampering him all the time. He doesn’t know what’s good and bad. I really want him to improve and have a better quality life. His young right now, he have the ability to learn.

I have autistic child, and it is not easy getting them to eat variety food, they eat very few food stuffs, healthy or not is not the priority here. And starving them thinking they would eat it is not for them. Hmmm sad people don't have much awareness abt autism. This is not to criticise you.❤

@@namaetoen1919 I think people are well aware of autism today than ever before because it has become common in kids now. What I’m saying is if you don’t have the right resources or care taker it will become really difficult when child becomes an adult. I personally have a friend who have an autistic child in his 20s and it scary at times. You got to give it your best when they are YOUNG! that’s what I’m saying. Sometimes being little hash can do wonders. You can’t just say his is the way he is, you have try changing that. Spoiling and pampering all the time is just for the time being but what about the future ? Lhakpa have said his son puts on his own pants and eat bhaklap with butter by other’s order but doesn’t listen to her which I find sad. I think by good attentiveness and care, he can improve because his condition is not too bad.

Dad’s duty isn’t to just provide financially. Lmao! They need to provide emotional and physical support just as much. You have ur son with you all day and u don’t get a day off. And to top that off, people talk as if u do nothing. Even if he pays u $700, that is nothing compared to what u have to endure. It takes two to make a child, and takes a village to raise that child. That woman sounds like either she has no motherhood experience or she’s never suffered in her life or she is somehow related to ur ex. You owe no one any explanation but we appreciate it anyway. Don’t ever make these people upset u cause you had to find a baby sitter for a day out. It is so upsetting but it’s true that it’s usually women who talk down about other women. These people will probably show more sympathy for a mom who kills their child out of mental stress than someone who knows their mental limitations and find a babysitter for a mental break! Please continue to speak up for kids who are being abused by the ones that are supposed to love them. Home should be their safe haven.

Hi Lhakpa, I feel sad that people are leaving such a negative comments for you. U r sacrificing so much to raise ur special need son. U r not working, u don’t have leisure time like we do, and time for urself. Father of child should provide his contribution to raise ur child, After-all Dukda is also his son and it is his responsibility to provide financial support, emotional support and also sometimes when possible he should give u some caregiver relief. I am glad that u r speaking up for urself, I would do same, however u r one person and unfortunately there r too many mouth in the community.
