I watched this whole video only to have you show sleep mode. LMAO, I want the last 5 mins of my life back

How does that help? You still have to turn your inverter off, that is also what causes a huge battery draw. When you turn the inverter off Starlink will automatically disconnect.

A good deal of folks never power down their inverter.

Have you been up into BC waters, Desolation Sound with Starlink yet? If so, how was the reception? Thanks, hope to be nomadic worker cruising up there soon.

great video.. I have a measurement system on my rectangular dishy and IM getting average of 45 to 50 watts over several days.. and when the unit is in Sleep mode the unit drops to 22 watts, so I assume thats the router in stand by with dish off.. I sort of expected it to drop to a few watts of standby but the router stays warm and is fully powered. for this reason, Im starting to look at POE 48v and a smarter router. so fwiw.. with 8 hours of sleep per day, I average 1.2KWH per day to run a tiny victron 12/375 and the dishy.. that data has been over the last month as my coach sits in stand by or using.. doesn't seem to vary alot. fwiw..
