People, Dj Pain's channel is one of the if not the best channel for producers. His channel is just dripping with sauce. He deserves at least 500k, and I hope he'll get there soon, because he deserves it.

Yeah I have watched people steal on live streams and call it original sound designed kits with distortion effects added pulled from an old drum machine. I think people are so accustomed to stealing that they don't understand what is original. Thanks for the info!! This made me step back on your first video and re-evaluate how I was creating sounds.
@DJPain14 жыл бұрын
That does seem to be the case
@JulianDoe4 жыл бұрын
You're absolutely right. Who wanna sell sample packs should make their samples. Unfortunately, it's not always the case. I found myself making tutorials or demoing plugins with Logic stock (and free) loops and too many times I have copyright notice from "some guy" that is clearly not Apple. That's really bad for all the other little producer that works hard to make original samples and are trying to make a career in the sound design world. Thanks for your useful video, stay safe and have a great day.

Great information here. Making your own one shots/sounds is what will give you, the producer, your own, unique, distinct, sound. It is time consuming but may very well be worth it in the end. I'm writing while listening, so excuse me if Pain covered, but adding Foley (i.e your own recordings of bouncing a tennis ball, to hitting a brick with a piece of rebar. Literally ANYTHING)!! sounds to your kicks and snares, and mixing them to taste, are HUGE. BTW, Pain, I see you climbing to the 100K subscriber spot! I remember you had 70 something K a year or so ago. Much love and support over here........for your videos, that have given me inspiration, and knowledge on top of what I know and have learned throughout my career. Peace!

Just like that sound in David Banner's hit "Run", from early 2000's, was straight out the Yamaha Motif. It's been in quite a few other songs as well. It was like a kick, a snare, a crash cymbal, and a stomp all in one. But the beat was so smooth.

I originally got into music production because I wanted to do sound design and in the last 3 years I have just went in another direction, I got back from deployment and was on leave, had nothing else to do one day. And loaded up recorded sounds from my cheap ass H1. Fucking love those sounds. I opened a can of cat food, tweaked it. R&B snare!!! I need to get back into sound design. It's a whole nother level.

I would like to have an 808 kit with really deep, really smooth, 808 bass sounds. I don't like the distorted 808's that people are using in today's music.i like the early 90's era production. And I like how they used snare samples from the 70's in the music. (That hitting a cardboard box-type sound.) As a matter of fact, do you remember when music had a feeling? The sound was so good that it had a feeling and changed your mood instantly. Like "It Ain't Hard To Tell" by Nas. Why aren't we getting any more music like that in today's world? Maybe I'm just nostalgic and reminiscing. Great video though. The plaques are looking nice and shiny on the wall bro.lol.congratulations.
@prophetstudios214 жыл бұрын
Music today still has a feeling, but you’re always going to have a bias toward the type of music you fell in love with first, the feeling you get from 90s music is the same feeling kids get from trap music today, music is very generational which makes it even more special🔥👌🏽
