totally agreed - put Fami's bass, Hauna's drums and Miyako's riff and solo in isolation here and it's pure Motorhead influence (but then add Midori and Asami and it becomes pure Lovebites!).

This song is their best at represented modernizing 80's metal/hard rock. It's everything I loved about the 80's, but sounds SO much better than those 80's songs. There is no other band with this much talent in it, at least with every band I've ever heard. It's so tough to say favorite, but "Judgement Day" ekes out the top spot.

I'm saying that out of every band on earth that fits under the banner of "hard music" (i.e. everything from hard rock to metal), Lovebites may well be the most musically talented. All their members are versatile and technically elite musicians (especially now with Fami as their bassist), but they also have a concert pianist in Miyako.

I admire Galneryus a lot. Syu is amazing on guitar, a personal friend of Midori. The entire band is superb. If they sang in English, they could be internationally famous. Lovebites is still my personal all time favorite band, all genres, male or female.

Think there is a pre chorus, or something in Hammer of Wrath where they all sing. Also, a call n response of sorts in another popular song. Can't recall the name at the moment. Of course, Miyako sings backup quite often. I hope these ladies get there due. I know they've had great success overseas, but it's time to break the bank. Beatles invasion should be nothing compared to how it should be with these ladies. Let's try our best , in the states, to make that happen.

Miyako sings harmonies behind Asami a lot - often high harmonies (to Asami - Insane!). And the often do gang vocals, but this is the first time I've heard actual 4-part harmonies - and it sounds beautiful.

Lovebites songs were far from boring. Despite the heavy, intense and fast beat, there's still a good chorus, crazy riffs and beautiful melodic vocals to spice it up. So many elements that touch my sense👍👍🤘🤘

Don't worry about pausing. We come here for your input, we can hear the song uninterrupted anytime. Good work! I think the chorus is similar in Set the world on fire. They all sing part of the chorus together but not like this. Great song!

So, they did a recent interview in print. After Fami was picked, Miyako immediately sent her 10 tracks. Within a few weeks, she was in the studio. Fami added some flavor, but Miyako had already done the heavy lifting in the bass arrangements. Asami said, Fami was learning so fast that they needed to be careful, or she was going to leave them behind. That's a ridiculous complement. I hope the next album, as well as their live performances, showcase the bass a little more. I'd like a little more balanced approach. Give M&M a break for one song and lean on the rhythm section. Great song! Great reaction! I guess I'll subscribe.

It's not just talent, it's also hard work. And it seems, as if Fami was a real work horse, if you know what I mean! Remember the thing with the galloping riffs at the auditions, when she said, she didn't know, how to play them, and first had to learn them by trial and error (quasi on the fly), and she nailed it. Her age may help as well. She's no longer "injected into the legacy of Lovebites", she's integral part of Lovebites 2.0.

You’re correct. You often see Haruna mouthing the lyrics but she’s never had a mic. I do believe though in this song she is just doing the shout and not the harmonies in the chorus, but that doesn’t matter. It’s fun how her eyes got wide for a second the first time we saw her doing the shout. So cute!

Please continue to support LOVEBITES. 【From an interview with Asami and Fami for a magazine project】 Asami wanted to use the sound of "river" in the lyrics, but thought it would be strange to use "river" as the chorus. Asami found "deliver" and thought it would be cool if everyone shouted it out instead of just telling what the word means. For many Japanese, pronouncing and hearing the English "r" and "l" is difficult. From there, Asami arrived at "stand and deliver. "Stand and deliver" is a pirate term that apparently means "Leave all your money!" Asami thought that if he wrote the lyrics as they were, it would be a song about a "pirate king. Asami wanted to avoid that. Asami learned that "deliver" can also mean "to carry out" or "to be free" in addition to "to deliver. Asami uses "Stand and deliver" with the following interpretation and meaning. Stand up and be free! Rise up and be free! Arise and be free! Let's get up and be free! From there, Asami put the following thoughts into the lyrics. Nothing satisfies me. It's boring to be like this every day! Let's go more bouncy! Let's be bold and do something different! Let's break out of our shell! P.S. The mic stand setting that Miyako used was too high for Asami.

I'm a huge Band Maid fan because I prefer their songwriting and just rock in general rather than power metal but of all the bands out there this would be my #2. If Band Maid didn't exist they would be my #1. Miyako and Midori are an incredible guitar duo. I was already familiar with Famiwhen she joined the band and she's amazing too. They're all excellent.

@@doripak815 we all have our favorites but I like Misa because of her more melodic style. I think she also blends with the various portions of the music better at least to my ears. Don't get me wrong, I think Fami's amazing but for personal musical styles I just like Misa a little bit better. It would be interesting to see how they would adjust to each other's bands styles were they to trade places. I think Misa just fits Band Maid's style and Fami fits Lovebites style but it's apples and oranges and really unfair to compare them. It all comes down to musical tastes. We haven't even mentioned Gacharic Spin's bass player who's awfully good also. They're all just incredibly talented people who have worked very, very hard to reach the point they're at and we should all be grateful that we're around to hear them play.

@@doripak815we each have our preference. Fami is excellent but I personally think Misa plays more inside the structure of the different musical styles of Band Maid. It's really apples and oranges when it comes to the two bands. I depends on which musical style you like better. For me Lovebites style wears on me a bit but Band Maid is a constant surprise. That being said I'm going to buy the new Lovebites album, I've never bought anything of theirs but I've bought basically all the Band Maid stuff.

All excellent bass players and I'd also include Haraguchi from Nemophila in the list. Just try to remember that Fami hasn't been with the metal Goddesses for long and is still young and new to this style, and she seems to be doing a good job.. 🐺🤘
