Love it when Mark does drills in the kitchen. Hope Mrs. Parfield won’t have to worry about other people throwing soup all over the place!!! Coach cameos are also great... especially a bundled up Coach. What a lovely boy... LOL

I would slice every drive around 20+ yards(occasionally over the fairway beside) but then I saw in one of your videos a similar explanation as the saucepan. Just to have that thought(visual) in my head as I took my back swing brought it down to a 5 yard fade! Took a couple rounds of golf to work it out but golf became much more enjoyable because of you! Cheers for that!

Some great tips there Mark, I think I need to move my club path more to the right. My iron strikes are fairly consistent if a little left but the longer the club the more I have a tendency to push the ball right with further left to right movement.

I started to change my swing last year on a similar drill you did last year, it’s not quite where I want it yet as I haven’t practised enough. It has really helped but it is hard to persevere with as it takes a while to adjust. I have dropped 4 shots this year to 11.9. Just need to drop 0.5 to beat my dad’s best ever handicap. Then a push for single figures. This video has reminded me of the ideas I need to work on this winter. Thanks again.

I tested a number of drivers in my fitting. The Titleist TS2 for me with a Titleist mid launch Tensei av blue 55 gave me the best results. Mizuno driver also gave me great results. For me i liked the look and feel a little better and extra 10m in the Titleist. My fitter was happy for me to choose either club.

Interesting swing to fix but love the simple but smart thoughts especially the saucepan idea - such a good visual chucking the soup out and then anything left over - winner! Still buzzing after the trail shoulder discovery from yesterday - can't wait to try it on the range at the weekend - at least another 10 yards with every club!!!

Love these, super helpful. Be nice to see one where you talk about swinging hard with this kind of explanation. Ex. to swing harder would you just try to dump the saucepan out earlier or dump it out harder. Seems like when I get a good feel with these swing drills it's hard to keep those feelings closer to full speed.

Mark, I want to say THANK YOU!!! You have never met me, but I'm one of your original KZbin Journey Students and I used to be that guy in the video. I started golf around the time you started this channel. And after watching every one of your videos over the past several years, along with a lot of hard work, I'm finally developing a swing to be proud of. Thank you for sharing your wealth of information! (I'll share a few of the more important lessons I've learned below.) #ulnardeviationftw
@ohiomoto6 жыл бұрын
I really struggled with wrist extension (cupped wrist), flipping, club path, and strike as I've learned the golf swing. I found it extremely hard to bow the wrist and keep wrist flexion on the downswing until I figured out how to use one of Marks favorite moves: ULNAR DEVIATION!!! Ulnar deviation and wrist extension don't play nice and for some reason, I find it easier to add ulnar deviation, which naturally leads to wrist flexion. It's amazing how much it's cleaned up my strike patterns! I can actually find the middle of the clubface on a consistent basis now.

Great vid Mark. Nothing worthwhile comes by easily. Golf isnt easy, so to get it right it takes work. Most of us are willing to do the work if the advice we get is worth it and not just clickbait. Ps. Dont see many reviews on Cleveland HB Drivers. Have played a few Cleveland drivers in the past and didnt mind their quirky looks.

Great drills! Was noticing that, while you were flailing with the saucepan in the kitchen, you had your kids' notes on the frig. What impressed me was that they were writing to Mummy (Mommy here in the Colonies) and not printing! Over here writing has gone the way of the dodo. Nobody younger than 18 can read a written note! It is atrocious! Good for you and your kids! Merry Christmas! Oh, and I wouldn't mind that little Bushnell... bruh. Oh, and almost forgot! A TS3 would be the dream big dog.

Nice, I'm learning lots off this. I've started recently to keep more of my lead foot Weight centre on driver swing. It's helping me from over extension of hips forward in the down swing. I just need try harder on being more in to out as I have a high tendency to go a bit right. Are you having a xmas special? If so can't wait to see Lockeys new Xmas hat😄

Great Video as all ways. The sauce pan and dropping the club drills are awesome. Standing on you balls over a ledge will definitely help the dreaded shankapotamus action. Also the pain alone should correct balance. 😏🤣🤣🤣🤣

Oh, that is a tough one. It's between the Ping G400 LST and the Mizuno ST190. I have the standard G400 and love it, but would love to try the LST model on course for a few rounds as I think I might just be able to squeeze a little bit more out of it. The ST190 is the driver that most intrigues me, but it isn't available for testing yet to us mere mortals. So given that, G400 LST it is.

Mark, question for you, would you say most people have an overtly flat swing plane? A lot of video's seem to show people at the top of their swing with the club very flat/low down in relation to their shoulders, is this lack of shoulder rotation? or does the grip tend to initiate that position? Loving the thought provoking content.
