Stop Thieves Cold With This "Master" Solution - They'll Just Give Up When They See It.

Auto theft is really a matter of deterrence - Mark has found a cheap and effective solution that will fit most cars. It's hidden under the hood and when they find it they just leave - the tools and time it takes to remove it are beyond the skills of today's amateur thieves and their little bag of electronics.

@@carquestions Sorry, I commented too early. It is a pretty good way of immobilising a car in some circumstances but pulling a few relays or fuses would equally confound all but the most determined car thieves.

there are some issues here: 1. car radios will require code to use them after disconnect battery on many cars 2. computers learn and adapt engine parameters over time, disconnecting battery means computers have to relearn it all over time, so you might get lower miles per gallon till computer relearns, many things are effected by disconnecting battery. Old fashioned hidden kill switch is better way to go, can put the kill switch on fuel pump power wire is a good way to go
